I have done that twice on my South to North and my North to South Pennine Way Hikes carrying my 30KG Backpack.

@@simpsonvlogs Journey time 12 days, yes I was a lot fitter in 1976 when I first did it and used it to get used to carrying a25 to 35kg backpack prior to joining the Army, I next did it after I left the Army in 1979 that time I did it for the sheer pleasure. 1980 saw me tackle the Coast to Coast (West to East) and again East to West the following year. 1985 saw me tackle John OGroats to Lands End, 1990 back again from Lands End to John OGroats and my last Long Distance Hike was in 2000 the COMPLETE Coastling of Great Brittian approx 16000 miles approx 18 months of hiking 6 days a week, Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn.
