This dude was a self recording pioneer. He plays all instruments on all tracks. Famously had all female backing band for live shows. He was married to Lisa Bonet and they had a kid together.

Sure, occasionally, he'll have guest musicians performing along with him on some of his songs. But, for real... it's JUST HIM.
If you want to check out more Lenny, honestly, you can't go wrong with any of his songs/albums. Pretty much everything the man does is GOLD.

I don't know much about Lennie Kravitz's music. I know the song Fly Away was the first real song my now 25 year old nephew would sing when he was a little boy-lmao. And I know he is fine and completely his own vibe in style. Very rock and hip and hippie and yoga and anything he wants to be.

Lenny was one of the best live performers I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a few over the years. Saw him at Shoreline Amphitheater (Mountain View, CA - right across the street from Google these days), and he wanted to make sure those of us up on the lawn were having a good time too, so he jumped off the stage, ran up through all the seated section in front, climbed up onto the lawn then ran over to the lighting tower and climbed up it and sang to us with a wireless mic! Crowd went ape-shit. I think that was the H.O.R.D.E. Tour 1996. Good times!
