@@LJimenez0185 It does not matter what format you save it to, as you will trace it to a vector graphics in Inkscape or some other vector graphics software. I use Inkscape as it is free. Good resolution jpg should work, as long as you keep the 1:1 ration of the picture to the original cluster face

Hi vladislavs, the printer that I used for this was inkjet HP officejet 6110, very old one. Yes, the black ink does not let any light through. Somehow the inkjet ink is quite good at blocking the light in combination with the right paper.
Depends on which image you are asking about. The scanned version was a normal scanner, I then traced all the individual details using Inkscape. Dials for example, I created a single rectangle and copied it the number of times needed in a circular fashion. There is an option in inkscape. Most of these are simple rectangles and circles.
I have a question How do you get the correct dimensions on the instrument cluster to property match the ones on your car? I wanna do this kind of thing on my Toyota 4Runner
I scanned it using a scanner. Then import to say Inkscape, without any resize. You keep the actual size, so when it is printed back (without resize) it should be true size
It is not too difficult to make one yourself. Play around with a scanned copy of the original one with Inkscape. Once you learn how it behaves, it is really easy to operate and you will have all the freedom to modify designs.
@@moremolecules thanks. I found some kits online on eBay for my cluster. I see some companies sell the aftermarket instrument clusters for a good amount and it just be thin paper or cardboard, well if you ever decide to try making some more let me know.
I see, you are not native english speaker. You have exactly the same probleem that I have when makeing video in english. Constantly need of thinking what you have to say and same time translate it into english language. That makes video long(because of pauses) and unfortuantely boring. But form positiive side, keep it up, and thank you for your valuable information.
It's not so much the language that introduces the pauses, it's working without a script, hence the pauses to take time to think what I need to say. If I were to be receiving much more from youtube, I would work with a script and take my time to do a video, otherwise this is what one gets. There is a day job to get to unfortunately.

The best is to screen print them, but on a budget and DIY it works, as long as you can find a good combination of a printer and paper.
