xTool M1 Laser Engraved Stamp

- Learn how to make a custom stamp with the xTool M1 and rubber engraving material.
*Note - the run time on engraving this out is about an hour, so I moved the xTool to my garage to avoid any lingering smell in my house (even with the hose venting out the window)
You can use the design I made for "Happy Mail" or you can follow the same process in Creative Space to make a stamp with your own design.

Your instructions are clear and easy to understand. I created my logo in Canva and saved it as an SVG. Then I upload it and get as far as making the box around it and changing it to engrave, but for some reason, my combine button doesn't turn on, so I cannot combine and subtract. Any tips?

Is there a reason why you didn’t cut it with the laser machine? Or outline it with the xtool and let it cut around it?
Honestly, I think I just didn't consider it :) I was so focused on getting it to engrave, I didn't think about seeing if it would cut.

If you upload a design that is in SVG format, it should work. Creative Fabrica is a good resource! Does that help? Or I offer custom design work too.

I designed an SVG in Illustrator, but you could try in another program - or look on Etsy for SVG images!
Did you use the air assist when engraving this?
I did not - I actually don't have the air assist for the M1 - but I'd like to get it!

@@elirodriguez3844 If you select the whole design, and not the square, can you combine it? Then it's like the whole design is one piece and you can subtract it from the square?
Another question - did you bring in the logo from another program? What file type? Or did you build it in xTool?
@@CraftingInTheRain hello, good morning, I hope you are feeling great… well, I did the design in canvas and saved it as svg and then I uploaded it to xtool's creative space. When I upload it to xtool, it is not in one piece and what I do is group it so that it doesn't move. And I can't combine it in any way, neither with the square nor without the box, I even tried it without grouping it and I can't combine it either.
😢my box is white the words are orange I’m having a hard time
