I've had the first X6M in 2010, blew me away. Bought my second in 2015 and still blew me away. Unmatched car. More fun and thrill than my Aston DB's, Ferrari Modena, my wife's Cayenne Turbo (boring girlie car), or anything I owned before. Last month I was ready to buy a new one, but I hate the new look, which I find ugly, so I bought a 2024 GLE 63, which is identical in specs, but a totally different car, drives like a Merc S Class but wants to be a X6M copy. Mistake made. The X6M is otherwordly, go for it - oh, and not a single problem with the X6M's in 14 years and combined 100k miles.
@@ramsonanderson you have good taste my friend! My second X6M was in your fav color. It was called 'Long Beach Blue' but now they changed it to 'Marina Bay', but it is the same color. The leather was red and the package turned heads. On the new model I just couldn't get over the ugly front and squished rear. I miss this car, it was a ton of fun, the GLE 63 isn't.
I suggest you present the vehicle in context, highlighting how it performs in the target market and against competitors while keeping your strong subjective opinions out of it.
To be honest, they look pretty good in person. Here in the US (TX), I ran into one on the highway just a few days ago. Clearly the 2024 with the updated front end and tail lights.. he was trying to play with me in traffic (a few 60/70mph to 100 runs)..but once it cleared up, I properly ran him when we could stretch our legs. I had no idea how fast they were until I beat him from 70mph-150mph and went home and researched it. It was even a white M Competition, just like this one in the video. i knew it was going to be fast, its a BMW X6, its an M, and the Competition badge on the back gave away that it was the top model obviously.. but I still go the thumbs up from him afterwards as I was exiting. Oh..forgot to mention.... I was in my 2016 Focus ST 😆..Its RaceRed and has big white numbers on the side...so i get sized up A LOT by expensive cars, suvs, and trucks (that know stock for stock, i wouldnt stand a chance). But Im also running a fully built engine with a big turbo at 500whp... it's pretty funny when these high-priced, high-powered cars people spend a butt load of money on try to pick on little old economy cars only to get run down by a $23k (US) economy hatchback 😅
well, i can tell you why they made this. Some people like myself likes to have a vehicle with a powerful v8 engine but in the mean while it does take daily-practicability into consideration such as not getting too scared with going over a speed-bump...
Judging by our roads in sa you'd wanna have a sports car like this you'd wanna have a coupe like this and the fact the body is bigger that makes fun and you dont feel like you travelling in mommy's waggon

Really surprised to hear that this x6m is the one that turned you away. I think it is the most beautiful of the lot, especially in Marina Bay Blue

Man , the audio did this whole review dirty. Can you guys do it again with better production because this doesn’t sell it 😭
It sounds like you came in hating this car, but can't help liking it.

If uou don't like it I'm willing to take a donation
The low profile wheels with that arch gap just never looks right.
0-60 3.7 seconds not 3.9
Matt from Carwow has recorded 3.4 seconds in repetitive launches
@@eduardovillalon7496 because he has the 625hp version the 617hp is 3.7 google it 👍
