- The X6 M Competition get some changes from BMW for 2025.On the outside you will find a new color called Isle of Man Green, 20/21in forged wheels and quad-tip performance exhaust. On the inside you will be greeted by a full leather interior, new 14.9in infotainment screen and 12.3in digital gauge cluster. Under the hood is a 4.4L twin-turbo V8 mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Is the 2025 BMW X6 M Competition a BETTER performance SUV than an AMG GLE 63 S?

I'm a Toyota Honda and Lexus guy. But the BMW M Powers always have a place in my heart. The X6M competition and the X4M comp are amazing vehicles. These engines are masterpieces and can win you races on public roads most of the time.
They can rob you of some serious $$ to for any sort of
Maintenance and or sadly problems.. A vehicle of this caliber and $$ point shouldn’t have the type issues the M Engines have had over the yrs.. 🤢
@@baims8367 Agree but I found out that the M engines especially latest versions of M V8 S63 engine and S58 engines are more reliable and cheaper to maintain than certain Porsche engines like the cayenne gts, Turbos over the years and AMG 5.5 M157 engines and 6.3 M156 ones, you can even including the M178 4.0 ones.
I am so glad that you drive these high performance cars the way they need to be driven so that I can live vicariously thru you ..........Wow

The interior is so beautiful and classy. Love the cocoa color and even the seat belts! Four can be comfy in it, too. Beautiful, powerful, not electric, a V8, and practical for all kinds of driving scenarios. If I were wealthy, I'd consider it.

Turn signals blink like traditional bulbs, and I personally hate them...Long LEDs turning on and off instantly give me the feeling of confidence and aggressiveness.
Isle of Man Green is a sharp color, love the wheels, like the shape of the vehicle. I like the headlights and the kidney grill is just right. Awesome performance with the V8, interior is nice. Thank you Joe and Lori for the video, review and of course the best part ON THROTTLE!

The large openings on the front grill, is to get air to the three water intercoolers to cool down the turbos and motor. Engineering.

I’ve had three of these, and 6 range rovers, currently in a ‘24 X5M comp, by far the ultimate driving machine. It drives better than a Porsche Panamera that I owned. It is really unbelievable engineering to make this 5400 lbs beast, do what it does.

The BMW X6 M Competition looks great with the facelift they did and the interior looks really good especially with that brown color. I still think I would rather the AMG GLE63S Coupe due to its way better sounding exhaust.

This, along with most other BMWs, needs a digital rear view mirror. Especially these coupe suvs, they're difficult to see outbthe rear. Plus, not sure why none of their large suvs (X5, X6, X7) have ventilated rear seats. The control pad looks like there's a blank made for it. Maybe the European market gets it and we don't? They're all made in the USA though.
Personally, I'm waiting for the GV80 coupe!
If any car costs more than $ 120 k USD in today's market it MUST fly. This is the most beautiful yet overpriced POS. I am hanging on to my 2014 X6 since I made a mistake & I purchased it brand new back then and I have no guts to let it go. Never again a V8 engine & x drive from BMW👎 Great clip Joe 👌

BMW does the rear and those seats better than Mercedes, other than that I think the GLE 63 is better for infotainment and interior otherwise. BMW's are def a drivers car though.

One thing I hate about gle 63 s is when u put apple CarPlay, it’s not on full screen and it’s small. That kills the whole interior

In X6 large wheels/rims dramatically change the way it looks. My personal choice would be 6 cylinder X6 because of price and fuel mileage compared to X6M.
B58 v6 almost 400hp most people won’t be able to tell the difference if you get the black out 22” wheels

The grill openings are going to cause serious issues and damage to the components behind them!! 🤦🏼 needs to be some type of protection be it a more mesh type of grill opening etc.
