Oh my gosh, you're so fun! Love the split base coat, it truly adds interest. I like the one that got dipped. Looking forward to seeing the embellishments!
I love the way you go about what you’re doing Chris. You sound like you enjoy the process ,and quite happy to change direction if you think it needs it. Makes your videos fun to watch. Would love to see a video of the embellishment on this one🙏👏👏😊
Hi Chris, it's absolutely gorgeous. I love the colours and composition, it looks amazing. I actually loved both pieces, I can't wait to see you embellish it. Thank you so much for sharing your time, talent, and your creativity with us. As always my dear friend looking forward to your next video, kind regards Pamela 😘❤
I really liked these before you put up a caption saying "You don't really think I'm done, do you?" then I burst out laughing! 😂 We should all know by now that you like to tweak in a big way, lol! Love the idea of a space embellishment! Looking forward to seeing it completed! Lol@you! That cheered me up, lol! 😘
I tried this today, on two 9x12 canvases, using black and white base, and irr copper, irr gold, titanium buff and a little raw umber, and white. I like how it turned out. I love, love, love color, but understated is nice for a change as well. And sometimes neutrals go with other people's decor as well. I have to let it sit up on my art room table, to dry, for a while (to see how the colors dry), and then see if I want to embellish it or not. Thanks for sharing! :)
@@ChrisJeszeck Sometimes the oldies show up on youtube under "home" or "suggestions for you". And besides, I almost always go to past videos when I run out of looking at currently posted ones. One never knows what surprises are lurking out there :) I am terribly unimaginative when it comes to embellishing so I need all the help I can get!
Ok Chris I liked the one you poured on before you poured...the 2nd one looked like a parrot or octopus...ooh the embelishment sounds good. Btw when I did mine the rippled colour didnt self level but liked that too🥰 sometimes Im easy pleased. Ha ha have a great day x
Hi Jenny! I hung onto the one I poured over for a long time and was never inspired to do anything with it, so I didn't mind covering it. Not really feeling the dip method...probably moving on! Thanks for watching! 😘
@@ChrisJeszeck doesnt matter how much you stare at them sometimes Chris nothing comes to mind, you cant win them all but those you do you do well!!! Have a great day 🥰🙏🤗⚘
I agree I like the dip you chose. I really like how this turned out. Very simple but I love the colours and composition. It really is pretty. Oh no you did that to the one you chose? I loved that one. You should have done that on the other one. 😩 lol
I absolutely understand your critical thoughts and concerns about the composition. Honestly I think that the "real" canvas is beautiful - elegant, balanced, like someone who doesn't need colors to stick out in a group - if you know what I mean. Somehow mirroring your voice and way of working. I am rather critical myself, excessive praise or applause at mediocrity is not for me but I like this. This technique seemed to me little attractive and too random,. So far. Thanks for the inspiration. Mixing the colors more fluidly probably wouldn't bring that effect.... We will see 😁. The playing continues.
So did you keep one of your dipped paintings? I thought they looked good. But, I totally get why you wanted to play with it. When I get a good but minimalistic type of painting, I always feel a irresistible urge to do more...even when it would be good to let it dry and embellish it later😏. I think your idea to embellish is going to be fantastic. You got some really nice cells from the dip. I really like your style of leaving a lot of negative space on your dips...I can't wait to see what you do next. 😊💛🖤💛🖤💛

Fun video Chris ! Can’t wait to see your space man ❤️
Thanks, Cathy! Glad you liked it!
Nice dip. I actually thought they would make a nice pair. However, you’re the artist and now I can’t wait to see your spaceship and astronaut.
It's in my ever growing pile of "to be completed" canvasses! Thanks for watching, Carolyn! 😘
Very cool! By George, you have come up with something new! Looks kinda like a Dutch pour dip style. 😋
Aha! I like that! Thanks for watching, Joy!
Fantastic Chris, love them both!

It needs something...either that or I'll pour over! 😉
Love your embellishments….
Keep ‘me coming 😂
Will do...thanks!

I'm on it! 🤣
LOL!
😂😂 Did you keep the one you liked?
Yes...so far!! 😘
Maybe blow it out a little bit. I like them
I could have...maybe should have! Too late now, though. Thanks for the tip! 😘
When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was a dutch pour
Interesting! Thanks for watching!
Oh no! You have ruined two georgeous dips! ;)
I kept the better one and I feel confident I can make the last one I showed something special. Stay tuned!
