If memory serves me correct, this was maybe a year or two after Full Gospel got started and this (convention) was held was in New Orleans that year. Jasper made his bid for a presidential campaign to be the next president of the convention. Bishop Morton was actually there this night…. Oh what a time 🙃
@@destinyimpactchsministries3332 correct! Morton was there to show support but things were so sticky in the convention at that time…many had mixed feelings.
@@MicahBacotegospelchannel it’s truly too much to type but just know that when the full gospel movement happened, it was a blow to the convention. Morton took and was pretty close to getting some of the last power house preachers left in the convention. it just left a sour taste in people’s mouth. No to mention, the fallout/tension Morton had with TJ Jemison who was the highly regarded president of the convention on at that time, who plainly said he didn’t want Morton in leadership (aka he didn’t want Morton to be the next president of the convention.)

No Power
The power is in GOD'S WORD that he is preaching about. The life that he lives speaks for him. Do you say he does not live the life?
