Y’all be asking the hard questions! 😆 No but seriously. I never thought about how much a mini cake is equivalent to. I just treat it as it’s own product. Aside from that, I also can’t tell you whether it’s one or two cupcakes because we all have different cupcake sizes. My cupcakes are larger than standard but smaller than jumbo! So I could tell you it equals one of MY cupcakes but it might equal 2 of yours! I shared a few posts back how much batter I fill my tins with and that might help you determine your cupcake equivalent. But still keep in mind that different batters bake and weigh differently as well! But if you use my recipes then it will be the same. 😉 Also keep in mind, the mini tins DO COME IN DIFFERENT SIZES. The ones I buy are 6.5oz. Please understand this is all in fun and NOT being asked by customers. My customers DO NOT CARE ok?! 😂
Even though it has the correct name, people are greedy and expect it to probably be a bigger mini cake. But make the mini cakes the way you like and what profits your sales.
People are probably asking so they can gague calories/nutrition. Serving sizes are arbitrary, the only reason they matter is so people can figure out what they are actually consuming.
But you see, these types of people always gotta argue or always waiting to take offense. Can't even ask questions now without someone playing victim or taking offense.
@@rashellchappell9489 I mean... I get what you're saying, but I disagree. The cupcake isn't good for you; that doesn't mean you should just ignore it. People make informed decisions about how much they are willing to indulge. Thank you! Because how hard is it to figure that out? Not hard at all. She didn’t even try. All cookie/ice cream scoops have a number associated with them and that number corresponds to a measurement.
Honestly looks like 4 or 5 cup cakes… that is more than enough for 1 person, perfect for two to share or 2 servings for one. They look so good, what a genius idea. God bless you and your family❤
@@rachelmoses5862If they’re worried about that..they can go to Walmart. Simple…people worried about money should go to businesses that focus on low prices. Otherwise, just accept that you’re paying for quality, time, effort, cost of resources, uniqueness and aesthetics…
Thinking the same. Two short cupcakes and since I like my cupcakes high for me this would be about 1 1/2 cupcakes. Totally justifiable on a really tough day 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Id bet most are asking cause a cupcake is easier to distribute or portion control. A poll would be cool to see if your customers would prefer a smaller tin (if that works for you of course). Love your spirit wishing you more and more success!
@@s.r6331that's not the issue. People are comfortable with muffin/cupcake sizes for portion control. It's easier to identify in their brain how much they should eat. She could have easily answered this for those people.
Thank you! My customers aren’t asking this lol it’s other bakers. I can’t tell them for sure because there’s so many factors that go into it like what size scoop do you use, how many scoops equal one cupcake for you (mine isn’t one scoop), I have a thick batter your loose batter may bake different and need more etc.
That’s great! None of my customers ask so I’ve never had to think about it. And for me it’s definitely not two of MY size cupcakes. They’re not standard size and they’re not jumbo. That’s why I can’t tell everyone. It won’t be the same.
But every cupcake is a different size and nutrition content based on ingredients and recipe... You can't just standardize all cake to "I ate about 2 cupcakes worth today", if you're actually dieting and need to measure, you need to measure your food by weight, not by eyeballing how equal it is to the size of a completely different recipe with different nutritional facts. Like if I eat a Hostess cupcake with tons of sugar in it, and then I make my homemade chocolate cupcake the same size, but with half the sugar the recipe calls for because I don't need my food to be that sweet, I don't just enter in my diet journal that I had 1 cupcake, I have to specify if I ate the super sugary 250 calorie Hostess cupcake or my homemade lower sugar 140 calorie cupcake. If the product has a nutritional label on it, you just refer to that and you don't need to measure by "cupcakes" because the label has the grams and ounces of how much actual food you're consuming right there. 1 cupcake sized pound cake has way more butter and sugar than 1 cupcake sized angel food cake, you shouldn't be measuring portions by eyeballing them if you're actually trying to be on a strict diet, and all food you buy is labeled by weight and daily nutrition values. If you make your own recipe, you can plug the ingredients into a calculator for free online, but not every chocolate cupcake will have the same weight and nutrition.
One of those mini cakes could last a long time or be eaten in moderation. There are some foods that I literally eat once per season. Cake is reserved mostly for bdays.
I'd say that's nearly the same size as one cupcake. Perhaps it looks bigger on camera, but it definitely takes more than one scoop to fill a big cupcake/muffin container
I mean, hiw big do people expect a MINI CAKE to be? The same size as a regular ol cake? Im pretty sure i learned in elementary school that mini was a shortened version of the word miniature 🤷♂️🤦♂️😂😂 Hope u have a blessed week!
If you are putting two scoops in each tin obviously it's two cupcake sizes they just spread it together to form One mini cake because if you would put a divider in between each cake tin while you're baking the mini cakes they will see it's two cupcake sizes because you are putting in two scoops a cake batter in each tin
I purchased them about a month ago. The tins were smaller than I was thinking. But I use them the other day. Wow my ppl love them!! Thank you. Gotta get my labels together now. Love them!! 🧡🧡🧡

As someone who's made quite a few cupcakes imo judging by the size of scoop you used to measure your batter going in I'd say 2 cupcakes.
