Great review, thank you! There were so many side references that I enjoyed…I owned a Saab 900 for about 10 years and loved it, and I’ve also been a big fan of the Tour de France since the late ‘70’s. I wish that I could also say that I own the remarkable Phase One XT, but I can’t, as it’s a bit out of my price range. I do enjoy my Fujifilm GFX and the only Phase One product I do own (rent!) Capture One. Also, your spoken english is excellent. Well done!
English was good. Would of liked to seen a few more photos & some with vibrant colors. Happy shooting. PS; wonder if there is an adapter to mount some older tilt shift lenses to it & I need to look up the sensor dimensions.
yes, the XT is an interesting product, the Frame adveraging in my understanding is simmilar to the Hasselblad H6D's multi-shot back; it allows a bracketing of exposures to account for highlights and shadows in the scene, giving a chance of capturing them inside the dynamic range of the sensor, if it can't , this is where these features come into play, taking a shot under and over, but not leaving them in separately on the card, NO, they combine the 150 or so shots into ONE file!, with All the dynamic range of the scene, irrespective of the sensors' capabilities. Also the XT has encoders for the shift and rise, so any distortion can be accounted for, and corrected in the software afterwards.
Excellent English sir! You put the English to shame making technical videos in a second language. I prefer the Alpa cameras personally, but the IQ4 has some nice upgrades.
You didn't mention it is totally unreliable for pro's. I speak about the digital back. You at least need to rent a second one or bring also a reliable full frame mirrorless..

Hello Matej,
one of the best XT reviews I see.
Can I share it in my page?
Thank you and od course! I ll be happy.
Modeling in front of a Rodenstock HR is not for the faint of heart.
Curious what the actual dimensions of the sensor is?
English was great btw :)
Excellent English speaking 🙂
