To explain Kaio-Ken a bit more, that's what the red aura is. And it multiplies one's base power. It was basically his main way of boosting his power prior to obtaining Super Saiyan. Than he kinda stopped using up until Super.
goku stopped using kaioken because he couldnt handle the energy drain when combined with super saiyan but he was able to combine it with ssb beacuse ssb is focused on ki control
He actually missed the first attack vuz he thought jiren rushed good when it was the other way around. The entire beginning of the UI fight was good trying to come to grips with the increased speed which is whybhe overshot jiren by so much the first couple times.
Watching these videos just reminds me of the reaction when I first saw these fight scenes. So nostalgic fo watch someone else react the way I did. It's really cool. Can't wait for you to play Kakarot.
I'd recommend watching the rest of this fight. This is just their first fight. There's a fair bit more left to go! The guy at the end who attacked Jiren is named "Hit".. Goku fights him in a previous tournament. Definitely a fight worth watching! The tournament with their fight caused the current tournament, which they're fighting in now to stop their universes from getting destroyed.
Oh yeah, just a quick note. So jiren was highly suppressed, even when goku was using blue kaioken. But when he had to push back the spirit bomb, he was still suppressed, not by much though. When jiren was fighting UI goku, he was semi-surppressed. Dude is a beast.
Also I realised you didn't know what the Kaio-ken technique was. (The red aura thing) Basically it amplifies Gokus power and speed (Kaioken 10x being a 10 times multiplier on top of Blue and so on). Why he doesn't use it often is because it takes a huge toll on his body.

The kaioken is a technique that is very difficult to master and that's the reason why goku can go up to 20x if he was able to master it the kaioken wouldn't strain or destroy his body in any way which means he would be able to multiply his power nonstop.king Kai was the one who created the kaioken and not even him could master it

Wow! Every time he used UI it drained him of most of his power...every time he got such a massive zenkai boost after his recovery..no wonder after using ui he was able to give jiren a tough match in blue x kaioken, which he wasn't even able to land an attack earlier...🤯

Good reaction bro. Blue and super sayian god has a big difference between in power. Ultra instinct is all about defense and moving without him thinking abt a move. Everyone was shocked because they never seen a mortal do it and even gods of destruction have trouble doing this form. Gotta watch MUI= Mastered Ultra instinct vs Jiren. The reason why ultra instinct ran out is because that was goku first time ever doing in that state and it’s hard for mortals do stay in that form

The energy around the characters is called Ki, and it's created from 3 things combined from the fighter. A sharp mind, a strong body and powerful spirit which can all be gained through training and fighting. Ki is able to enhance your reflexes, increase your durability and enhance your attacks plus heighten your speed but none of that worked on Jiren. What's even more scary is the fact that Jiren did not need Ki to fight Blue Goku or Ultra Instinct Goku. Having no Ki basically meant Jiren wasn't even trying to use his energy, Jiren was basically waiting for Goku to land punches, and that also means Jirens immense body that's nearly impossible to budge is his body at its most regular, normal state. Jiren basically has so much Ki, his body is like a pressurized cannon of raw power. Anything weaker than Jiren gets blocked by his own aura which is why Goku's Kamehameha in the beginning didn't even touch Jiren. Jiren's attacks with his eyes also is a technique from him where Jiren releases just a small portion of his dormant energy which causes vicious pressurized attacks to be aimed from his own eyes. That red aura at the end of the fight wasn't even Jiren's Full Energy, it was only just a portion of it. The battle gets more ridiculous throughout the tournament.

Something I've only just noticed because I slowed the video down was that in Gokus last attack before he falls out of ultra instinct, when it flashes to his eyes for a split second you can see they aren't in ultra instinct anymore, so you can tell if you pay super close attention that the attack wasn't going to do anything even before it landed

Jiren basically has so much Ki, his body is like a pressurized cannon of raw power. Anything weaker than Jiren gets blocked by his own aura which is why Goku's Kamehameha in the beginning didn't even touch Jiren.
Jiren's attacks with his eyes also is a technique from him where Jiren releases just a small portion of his dormant energy which causes vicious pressurized attacks to be aimed from his own eyes. That red aura at the end of the fight wasn't even Jiren's Full Energy, it was only just a portion of it. The battle gets more ridiculous throughout the tournament.
