Unreal. I mean I’ve been an Elvis fanatic since I was 8, I’m 54 now and I’ve never heard anybody this freaking spot on Elvis. Freaking incredible.
Bill has always been the ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist to me, and the one that comes closest to portraying the King of Rock 'n' Roll....

I've scoured RUclips for the last two days looking at Elvis impersonators. Somebody sent me a clip of some guy so I started checking them out. This guy is the best. It's crazy how much like Elvis he is. The mannerisms, the voice, the moves, and the looks are all there.
Even though there are many very good Elvis Tribute Artists, Bill Cherry has always been my favourite... :D xo

Bill Cherry is well worth going to see! So if you get the chance to see him perform please do so. He's a terriffic ETA if not the best one to date. He'll give you the Elvis experience if you never got to see Elvis Presley perform. We love you Bill!!!!

Omg! What an amazing preformance! I have watched this video over and over again, it took a minute but I know how he's able to so much like the one and only EP, he's "channeling" E. Right down to kissing the ladies, watch his lip exactly the way Elvis' lip did. No offense to anyone that still believes he hasn't left the building. Great video!

There are many wonderful ETA's out there today. But only 2 I would spend my hard earned money on. That would be Doug Church and Bill Cherry.They are OFF THE HOOK!

I used to think Shawn Klush was best 70s era ETA but since I've discovered Bill Cherry and the more I see and hear him sing. He is #1, his natural voice is closer to Elvis' and he hits the notes better than Shawn can as well. They both do a great show and at times give off the illusion that your at an Elvis concert for us that never got to see Elvis live. But I gotta say Bill Cherry is the best and closest we'll ever get to the real thing. Atleast until holograms or Virtual Reality gets more realistic.

That was one of the better imitations of Elvis that I've ever seen & he has everything down pretty fair as far as the act and enough of the way Elvis talked to be believable to people who haven't really seen Elvis a lot & some parts were dead on & I know because I have seen Elvis a lot & this guy knows how to put on a show and be very entertaining!! but he has no power in his voice and he really needs to work on that! I can sing identical to Elvis and I have a lot of power in my voice & even though I've sang country music my whole life and one a lot a big country music contest even the country showdown and have a lot of people want me to go to Nashville but I was stupid & never did because of having a good Job helicopter logging. but even as good as I sing country I walk around all the time in my house everywhere I go and I always have and I sing Elvis songs and I'm really good at it but I've just never thought of doing this before but it looks like it could be fun! No one can do every song as perfect as Elvis but I'm closer than anyone I've ever seen but I've been doing it for 50 years, Even though I only look 35 luckily because I've been Cutting timber helicopter for 30 years so I've kept my age! I record myself and then listen back to make sure I am dead on to how Elvis sang and because I know a lot about Elvis and I've been singing like him my whole life I can tell this guy was pretty damn good & probably the most enjoyable & realistic performer I've Everseen doing Elvis! You have a lot of guys who look pretty dorky and I'm almost embarrassed for them but not this guy because he was so believable, especially to people who haven't listened or watched Elvis much. He needs to work on his singing voice though but he can talks similar to Elvis, he sings pretty fair but just doesn't have the power and the ability to go low and light and go back up powerful and transition it all together in a smooth way but he has the general idea when he done my way! I've seen a lot of guys that don't hold onto the Notes long enough so at least he has general idea. Great entertaining show!!

I just saw him perform last night at Live Hotel & Casino in the Legends 2 kings and a queen show. I have seen quite a few Elvis Impersonators and I really must say Bill Cherry was the best. His look, his voice, his singing and his mannerism was spot on. They could have done without the Tina Turner wannabee and the Frank Sinatra wannabee. I would have enjoyed just a Bill Cherry Show as Elvis Show. Loved every minute and second of his performance. Let me know if ever he does his own show in Maryland.

No one could ever replace the King of Rock 'n Roll....but Bill Cherry is one of the best ETAs keeping his memory alive and well for all his fans.

Very good ETA. The only thing I could point out that needs correcting is that his lip raises the wrong way when he does that classic Elvis snarl. It’s supposed to raise up on the left side.

Ben is good and mighty fine ETA....but Bill has always been my favourite since the first time I saw him pay tribute to Elvis at an Elvis Festival many moons ago...he encompasses every aspect of being an ETA....the sound, the moves and the looks.... all in one package.... Lawdy Lawdy :D xo

Can you sway your knees and waist at the same time from the floor up without moving or gyrating your hips? And then spread out like Elvis did and back in keeping your balance. He was into karate. And then jerk with both arms like Elvis did? I don't know why they called him Elvis the pelvis because like he said what he did was nothing compared to what they do today and he never shook his pelvis per se and he never used his hips to Circle cuz he didn't have any hips, but he was sexier than sexy could be imagined from the floor up and he could shake his legs faster than any person on Earth but he never swung hips that he didn't have. He was an army man all the way even though he had to stay when his mom died. He was the sole surviving son and could have stayed home and I don't know why he didn't. Elvis could take his white suede shoes and mop the floor. But again why they called him Elvis the pelvis no one knows. We can only guess it was the amount of girls that he had affairs with. LOL now if you're LGBT that's another story I can understand totally. Forgive me please . And please don't be offended by anything this musician says. I want you to be Giant. And I just listen that's all. Or, look at the other sexiest man in the world, George Michael. Now that man could move may he rest in peace. Even my daughter remembers him and she's 38 years old. She used to watch him all the time and he danced like Elvis in his younger days. The song you got to have faith. I think that's the one where he did the butt thing. Now you would look good doing that with a guitar. Just throwing some ideas out there. And believe me, I don't know why I care because I don't even talk to anybody else in the business. It sure is strange why I take a liking to you this much. And I do.

Liberty Lady Shawn Klush has almost the exact mannerisms and he sounds exactly like Elvis!
Randy M. I don't think Shawn sounds anything like Elvis. He's tall, has the look, but Bill has everything and his voice, vibrato, etc...he just moves more like a strip dancer than Elvis, and gets the screams, just no g string and dollar bills. I've been so sad to see that combination to Elvis. Elvis was not a male stripper and although Elvis committed adultry, he respected his body. One time I saw Elvis make a move that looked like fun king but only ONCE. Elvis, like I said, respected his body and his image and hated the name, Elvis the pelvis. He said so. My dad from Opry did the same thing on stage and never made sexual moves. My mom as well, and my entire musical family. I sing Elvis too. I just started doing karaoke, without a band, and I uploaded a practice session on RUclips . I will do more as soon as I find a place to practice again. That place was a literal snake pit. Oh yes, he did... By late 1975 he stopped - due to his glaucoma, and probably didn't wear any makeup until the infamous shows filmed by CBS in June the following year.
But before that - tons. Check out pictures from the time when EP wore the jumpsuit used in this vid, which was mostly in July 1975. I doubt that you could pile more mascara onto his lashes if you tried.
Why someone would pay anything to see Shawn Klush or the character in this video though, I'll never know. Jumpsuit detail is impressive.
