Fixed my 06 volvo S60 by taking off the header and putting a new one in from a donor broken ECM.

So the one we bought is no longer for sale. But you and many others are inquiring about it so we are going to purchase a few more that are newer, and available and review them. Once we find a good comparable one at a good price we will make a video on it and probably sell it on our website. But as of right now, I don't have a good recommendation that would also be at a good price point.

Sorry I can't help you. You would need to send in the unit for one of my techs or myself to diagnose. We do charge for this.
My BCM is being repaired, if the repair works will I need a reprogram from the dealer or will it be pretty much plug and play?
It depends on if the chip we replace it one that has software. If your sent it in to us, and it's the one I am thinking of that we are waiting for a new part to arrive, it is not a chip that contains software so it should be plug and play.
What is considered high quality solder? I know the old stuff with a bit of lead was better.
Well, I guess that's more of an opinion but this is Kester brand solder which is a very renowned brand. The solder we use which I do have a link to in the video description is leaded solder. But I guess something else that makes me say it's high quality is the Rosin core itself is good quality rosin (flux) which helps get a really good joint.

What do you set the solder gun setting to?
usually it's between 380c and 450c depending on the unit I work on and the tip I am using.
