Aana, I enjoy your posts so much and I love to watch you paint… Yes, it’s also fun to watch your process of “packing“. In terms of New Year’s resolution's, when I approach the new year, I set a theme, which usually involves two or three areas where I want to place my focus. I hold this theme in my mind throughout the year and make efforts towards improvement. At the end of the year, when the holiday season comes, I evaluate my focus area and I have usually made progress. I feel good about that. This process is really special to me and has facilitated a lot of personal growth. Happy New Year!

@@r.j.b.1645 I absolutely LOVEEE the idea of setting a theme for the new year. That’s brilliant!! ☺️ I think that’s such a good and healthy way to approach the new year and keep self growth so present throughout it all. thank you so much for sharing and for being here!! 🌸

Hi Ana, just wanted to say that I had signed up to your newsletter. But so far have not seen anything on that yet, but of course ai know you have been extremely busy and may not have had time to write one. It is good that you have created another video update and that you are super excited with the idea of painting more from life. I presume you mean plien air painting. I love the latest swan painting. I dont make new year resolutions because I have lesrned that it is not long after that I fail to keep them, sadly. However, I like the idea of setting one or two goals to achieve and this seems to work. I like the idea of taking baby steps, as this seems more practical and not hasty, but careful.planning. so I would like to congratulate once more on your chosen direction and wish you both every success. I look foreard to reciept of your newsletter once your up and running. God bless you, Ana 😊 till next time.

@@Paul-su3qh Hi Paul! I believe you emailed me regarding the prints from this newsletter and i responded soon after! Hmmm there’s a high chance my emails are falling into your spam folder 😣 it happens more often than not. There’s usually a way in your email to add me as a contact or to move the email from the spam folder to the inbox to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Let me know if that helps!
Smaller goals are way better! I agree :) good luck with any current goals you may have at the moment! 🌟 wishing you all the best, Paul. Thank you!!!

Like a lot of people, I used to make new years resolutions, but then I read an article about setting goals and how they are different from resolutions and how to help make them happen......and it is so simple, it blew my mind.
When you decide on a goal.......here is the easy part.........write out an outline for achieving your goal. An outline just like you did as a kid in school.
Say you want to lose some weight (don't we all). So the goal is LOSE WEIGHT. #1 Go to gym....a. get membership......b. go on way home from work........c. weights M-W, cardio T-TH...........#2 Eat Healthier.......a Get healthy recopies.........b. More veggies, etc., etc.
If you break a Goal down like this, then it is less of a mountain and you are less likely to get discouraged. If there are failures in reaching our Goal, you can go back and look at the breakdown and see where the process went wrong.
I pretty much tackle every goal and big project in my life this way now. And it really is so simple.
Also......put your outline up where you have to see it......(the refrigerator door is a good place if you want to lose weight....lol)

@@douglasriddle6447 keeping your outline by the fridge is iconic hahaha yes yes yes i absolutely agree with you! the more you break down a big goal, the less scary it feels! I love that this had worked for you! It’s a really great way to go about your goals ☺️🌸 thank you for sharing!
