The movie is interesting it shows the dedication and risk needed to bring in the catch and having top notch gear really helps. I’m personally a huge fan of xtratuf and constantly convincing my crew mates and other sailors that they are the best grip out there ever IMHO. I’ll be arriving in Juneau Ak soon sailed across from Hawaii, we will all be gearing up with xtratuf for sure. Can’t wait to try the new flip flops
I fished Kodiak in the 70's and 80's. I met Louie a few times, and was kind of in awe of him and the Artic Lady. Real Highliners. Personally I didn't want to work that hard. I didn't have the determination or motivation or whatever it took. Also I just didn't want to spend my whole life at sea. But I could appreciate the dedication when I saw it, and Louie had it in spades.
