RE: your breaker - working at a building engineer for a worldwide hotel company, had a strange circumstance with a breaker that kept tripping. After replacing a few major components on that piece of equipment, I pulled the breaker and did a load test on it - turns out the breaker was defective and weak - did not even go to 30% load before it would trip. Replaced breaker - never had another problem on that circuit again.
Hey Heather and Jason . I wanted to tell you both that the lives styles of the truck truckers sometimes is depressing but both of you and the babies put me in a nicer mood and I love to read the positive msgs in the beginning of the V-logs . If you both of you know that you make a difference in some people lives . THANK YOU and keep safe out there love you both.
Love the new music. Bugger the stress of been a fleet owner. If the breaker was still hot that can cause it not to flick back in , Or is there a second one ? You could see by your smiles how proud and happy you both were to be requested by a client . Stay safe. ✌🧡🚚
Hey Guys I’m an unemployed PipeFitter from south Texas, I’m trying to make a career move to get my CDL . My plan is to go threw Stevens training program . With a lot of resistance from my wife . My Dad was OTR for his whole career. I love those big trucks . I understand it’s work . I truly enjoy your Vlogs and letting us in on your life’s .Stay safe and keep up the great work !
Your generator issue sounds like warranty issues with Olympus cameras years ago. They would return them working fine with a note saying no problem found, when we as dealers knew there was a problem.
Jason is going to be like a printshop owner I knew. He hired a management team to run the business while he ran a press. The interesting part, is they would hire temps when things got busy, and no one would mention the guy on the expensive color press was the owner. But after 2 weeks, if he like what he saw, he would ask you to fill out an application. I can see Jason still driving a truck, but owning the company :)
Kiddos a breaker should trip when it exceeds maximum ampacity beyond the trip level. Heat can be a factor but it’s easy on old stuff.Your breaker is pretty much brand new whatever that’s worth
breakers have these metallic strips that spring open under heat. If they are faulty some or reset a certain amount of times they will loose they interpret and not respond right, so trying to reset with no success, until it is fully cooled down is a sign it is weak under its operation conditions.
I left salt Lake City on Friday and just got off the 70 today. Headed to Alabama 12 hundred mile trip. The 7D has great parking along the way.I don't have to videotape how beautiful it is because you guys got it handled for me. Thank you so much.
The red reset buttons are plastic pieces that insulate you from the breaker. Sometimes they get misaligned and you have to take the cover off the breaker to actually reset it.
We actually found out there is a thermal factor to them resetting. If it’s to hot inside it will not allow you to reset the breaker until it cools off. May use the Milwaukee blower if it happens again
Happy Hands Hits Again!!!! Good to see you guys are rollin' along safely. My best to you and the Furbabies….come up to Alaska sometime, we have the best scenery in the world. "Hey, push this". Thanks, Steve, Wasilla, AK
There is a temperature sensitive fuse in most devices that cuts the power when they go over temperature. so that may be the issue with the air conditioner. i bet the fuse in on the compressor. If it happens again on a hot day. if you have an air blower try cooling the compressor section of the a/c.
Jason snap an amp meter around the wire and see what your drawing amp wise when your running all your gadgets and see if your overloading the circuit breaker, breakers will eventually fatigue when the run at their highest output, you guys got a bigger truck with a lot of draw I am sure you can get it worked out. When a wire runs a long length you have to increase the size of the wire to get the same amperage its all about resistance, but I really don't think that's an issue. It could be the screw came loose when they heat up and cool down it will loosen the connection and give you a problem.
Kansas was very boring when we went to Colorado wish I would have known when you went through breezewood would have liked to meet you guys love your videos 👍🏼👍🏼
Hi Jason & Heather! WOW!! Been there done that!! Hahahaha!! Glad it was covered (the AC ) Oh yeah you can't run over those sign's the mounting bolts will give you a flat.Oh don't sau that Jason your a great problem solver ;-) That's awesome, a customer watches your channel ;-) Thanks for the video, Peace, Love, & Expediting!
Great video Jason and Heather. You got to see all the work that a fleet owner does. My hats off to you for doing that. I only have 20 units to deal with myself, but Patrick at Hyfield is pushing 60 units. It's a never ending process sometimes you're up 24 hours dealing with things. They seem to come in three's with issues sometimes. Be safe out there and God Bless.
We have the same problem in the uk. Roadworks signs. That have fallen down. Or someone else hit and the next driver crnt avoid it. I had one last week that I couldn't avoid and I ran over it and it caught the rear bumper and flipped the sign up and ripped the rear offside tail lights of. Anyway stay safe. Enjoy your vlogs.
Hi guys good to see your staying safe and keeping them wheels turning the repair shops see people as cash cows not just truckers but everybody you go in with a simple problem and they will find a 100 problems.Problems that are not there stay safe in this scamdemic
Hi miss heather I was wondering do you ever get upset?I just can't imagine you ever being upset your videos are always like a breath of fresh air to me,jason is a blessed man to have you to keep him grounded tall stay amazing 😁🤗🐕🐕
Simply listening to the music you use on this vlog, you can tell you are romantics at heart. Don't see that too much anymore. Nice to see two people who seemingly enjoy each other's company and want to share their lives with each other. It's really refreshing to see this in today's troubled world. Please keep it up. Thanks for sharing your life with us. Say hi to the babies!
I don't know which model generator you have, but there are a couple of things to consider. Total load amp load. There are two specs; initial start load and continuous. When running continuous, this load rating is lower than starting amps. Second is ambient thermal temperature limits. All generators do have minimum and maximum temperature limits. Carrier does publish these figures. A thermal temperature coupler is an option on some models that can shut off the generator and alarm the operator. For operators like yourself (live aboard), getting the right model makes all the difference. As a rule of thumb, it's best to take the total amp load required and use a generator that exceeds that requirement by 30%. The electric generator components on some models are not rated for continuous operation exceeding 8 hours in high temperature conditions. The winding assemblies can overheat (even brushless units). Shaft bearing maintenance is very important. But many models use sealed bearings. Double check all wiring to the main panel and transfer switch for indication of overload heat. If the capacitor (which you have previously identified in one instance) is constantly burning out, there is a voltage regulator or power transfer problem (when using Shore power) or both. Double check the truck engine alternator relays to the main batteries. If the truck battery's are connected to the generator and alternator, there might be a blown voltage relay or faulty fusible link. If you have isolated batteries, (a good thing), that doesn't mean that the factory didn't screw it up and connect them anyway. Or maybe your generator installer did or didn't check what the factory wired up. Happy motoring!
Between you and Mr Patrick, Comforters owes ya'll money. I have had better luck with ThermoKing. The Comfortpro died on us in LV at 103 degrees as well. Hopefully, we will be as impressed as you guys are.
Get a spare red reset button! As I posted on your prior vlog I left Las Vegas at 6am Wednesday Morning on my bike and drove up to my daughters home in Columbus at 6am Friday morning. Kansas winds on I-70 weren’t fun. A tad over 2,035 miles over the 2 day period. Felt like a motorcycle expediter. Lol.
hello lovely family happy to see you. Oh, keto, this is great. I also have this kind of food for 2 months. I'm glad to get rid of sugar in my life ... kisses

Great job guys! My Girlfriend and I love watching you guys. If you're ever back in Manchester, Tn let us know cause we would love to meet you guys in person.
Trucker Kelly bought a trailer , it's not an Airstream but it pulls well with my 2007 Toyota Four Runner . It's just too bad I'm still sick and the border is closed but , we all have to just hang in there and one day we can all meet up . I'm in Dryden Ontario in the winter it would be awesome to go to Winter Haven at the Arizona California border area , I love the casino and the sand dooms the campgrounds have friendly folks there too , in the morning I can make an awesome sandwich and I would most definitely toast the bread ha ha ha :)
Hi guys, Yes! Sometimes it can be too hot for circuit breakers to reset. They are made with bi-metal contacts, & when too much current flows it overheats the metal & breaks the circuit; that is how they work. So if you add even more heat, then it takes longer to cool down to allow a reset. Now, if you find that the breaker keeps tripping, especially when in hot climate like Vegas, Phoenix, Death Valley... you might think about changing out that breaker. Have you got your roof leak fixed finally? Hope so.
Shyann and me watched this.. Sorry to hear about the steer tire... Both my cars get inspected, the 97 Jeep passed without needing anything in late November (emissions exempt) and my little 95 Ford Escort I use for around town for the few times I go out is currently getting inspected 12/8/2020 or there about (emissions exempt) as I told my mechanic to take his time with it and work it in since I have the Jeep to drive in the mean time, and I have been trying to stay home as much as possible to despite wearing a mask, social distancing, and hand cleaning which I've always done, so neither my cars get many miles on them. My cars sit in my garage with a battery tender on them as I don't do much driving. Wishing you guys all the best via health and trucking wise...

Vehicles do that a lot. They suddenly work when you bring them in, i have seen thousands of times. I hate when it happens to customers. As for the loose wire, warranty write up, they won't pay if says nothing found.
The breakers and capacitors are weakest links in the system . Heat is there biggest enemy which I don't have to tell you that . With record heat in Siberia this weekend , looks like this summer will be one for the record books . Just a though can you add more venting for air flow ?
Hey Jason, you probably already know all this, I'm just thinking out loud. You guys mentioned that your AC problem occurred when it was hot. When it is hot, the freon pressure on the high side gets very high, meaning that the current draw of the electrical system goes up too. I assume they checked the freon level. If it's too high during hot weather, the compressor pressures and currents will go up fast. Also, this doesn't happen often, but maybe the breaker's current sensing is defective and it's tripping too low. That would require replacing the breaker, since their is no external adjustment for that. It's say this is not likely, but worth a thought.
Please Heather and Jason , as I haven't been on the road for over one year tell us how covid 19 has changed the way of living on the open highway and what you think is the future for us truck drivers even though a cure is in the works doesn't mean it will work on all of us but toasting the bread really helps it's just so crunchy and tastes out of this world and after a few of those I'll sit back and watch for you're latest video blog about living on the road with covid 19 epidemic , be safe and being safe means not being lazy there's things you must do to be safe tell us what you do to be safe I would love to know thank you and all the best I feel like I'm healing just a bit a little ;)
