Permanent siphon to irrigate from a pond without a pump or electricity - I don't worry about drought

This is how I water my plantings from my pond without the use of electricity or pumps. A onetime per year setup of a siphon. Easy to set up and works great. I use a permanent placement of 3/4" black plastic pipe, a tee fitting, and a couple of valves. I drain it in the winter and set the water to flow in the spring. There is not a lot of pressure near the pond but as you go downhill it increases. The system is as reliable as gravity.

Absolutely incredible! I love your setup. It's all about the fruit trees. My philosophy is if I can't eat it I'm not going to plant it
