Good morning, I'm a granny from Wyola Montana, I'm a care taker for our dumps in our little community N I do clean up N collect metal n wire also. I did pick aluminum can for 15 years N sold the cans for my grandchildren, last year I collected 18 huge blacks bags, I didn't get much! I adore your compassion for Mother Earth, we are so blessed because we can still go out a dumpster dive. We don't have much, but to me it's a great find to go scrapping for metal, ext,.....😇💞👍🦾🦿🌎 God Bless my dear🌹🙏❤️😊
When I look at just the pile of scrap you turned in, I imagine how a landfill would look if there weren't scrappers. Good on you for turning trash into cash!
I love it, your very thorough of picking up scrap, I was wrong about you what I said before, forgive mate.what I like about the Aussies, your curbside scrap is so clean compared to us in the states.you guy's are a lot cleaner than us in the most part.i like every stop you pick through the scrap is saying ("pick me") in ready to go.when you scrap it looks so easy.most of the time when I scrap day or night I carry a ( gun) because it's not safe anymore.. too many criminals out there to carjack you where I live.
I'm a scrapper.been doing it for about 30 years. why do some scrappers cut the cords off of things.BUT don't take the sweeper.s or the small heaters.not much copper in them but I still keep the part with cooper.in it. it adds up
Hey mate. Wow you have a lot more experience than me! Could be all sorts of reasons. Maybe they’re on foot. Maybe they have no storage. Maybe they don’t have a lot of time or maybe they have little experience and don’t know any better. Thanks for watching 🙏🤙
Hello sweden here thanks for a really fine video. I heard a bird folloing you I think he said take me whit you ha ha, I see you doing great have a god one
Just subscribed.and been watching your first upload got a few more before I catch up. excellent viewing i would totally fill all the space towards the end with anything metal just to fill up and add value.we don't find scrap as easy here in uk.👍♻️
At 23 min in you found a blind and removed the bottom rail you missed out on the roller shade section inside the rolled up fabric section if you took 2 min more you would of had a 3 1/2 - 4 lb extruded aluminum roller inside it
I'm curious why don't you take the TV/computer screens ? Good money in the circuit boards. The microwave ivens you find contain flat round magnets that could be sold for £6. Each. Not sure you money is in pounds or euros or in $.? Nice find on the wire. I'm over the pond in New York,USA. I too am a scrapper and purchase those big screen TV and pay only $1. I scrap them for the boards amd dismantle the big lcd screens and re.ove the led backdating. I would scrap some big linotype machines f I r theater a d power supply. That is when I could manage to lift items weighing a 100 KG and now disabled and not able to lift more then 25 KG. I enjoy the content of your Trash & Treasure finds. Keep up all the good work you do recycling M8. Merry Christmas to you and yours..
Hi Robert, my main problems are time and space. I’m still learning and trying to find the right balance. This is just a hobby for me right now. I appreciate the advice and would love to one day visit New York. I’m in Melbourne Australia. Thanks for watching along mate 🙏🤙
Greetings Poly Prophet. Now this was AWESOME/PRICELESS. You going thru the smalls, yippe. Leave no metal behind, get all that chord life. GOD BLESS you always. PLEASE be CAREFUL. Stay humble and kind always. Do you have an oline site for selling treasures.
Welcome from a KIWI scrapper Watched most of your videos, now subscribed. Im impressed Bloody well done mate !! Looks like abit of re sellable stuff in them piles , Do you do much of that, or mostly scrap.? I do both over here , slim pickings here compared to there. See you at the next pile ! Cheers.
Mr. Poly what are you doing with All those cords you cut off from washers, driers, refrigerator, and microwaves?!! I enjoy your determination and drive in picking up scrap metals for sale. Some items for resale or personal use
Poly not sure how long your route is but you seem to pick up a lot of appliances. Either you travel a long way or the appliances in your country are not very reliable. Glad you are finding them either way.
I do have one in the back seat 🙂 I don’t remember specifically but I may have misplaced a bit so decided to use hand tools. Thanks for the advice Earl 🙏🤙
I just dont like it when you cut the cable of the appliances. Lot of those appliances still work and can be re used and that kills it for any other scavenger. I saw a almost brand new blue ray player the other day on the curb with the cord cut off. Its probably worth 2 cents for the amount of copper in those small pieces.
I only go out after the weekend to give everyone time to grab what they like. It’s me and the garbage truck racing around the streets. If I had more space to work with I’d take more home so I at least take the cords off. I’ve seen so much crushed in front of me 😔
taking everything you find to your vehicle means wearing you out, collecting it where you are and then taking it to the vehicle as much as you can don't make you too tired. Also, you found an aluminum pan in a box and you didn't check if there is any other aluminum in that box again. Another video, you sometimes leave iron, you waste your time, gentleman. If it were a truck, I would earn 1,000 dollars a day, at least 500 dollars, just by selling iron.👍🏼🥳
Hi margaret. That sounds like a world away. I’ve only seen snow twice in my life. I’d love to visit but don’t know how I’d go living in those conditions. We have Scottish heritage in our family. They sailed to our islands and stayed 🙂 Thank you for leaving a comment 🙏🤙
People throw out plenty of things in Australia.. some of the things are brand new. I live in the US. How far do you live in miles from where I live . I live in Delaware on the east coast of the US. So I guess on the west coast. California. Seattle. Washington state further south

Hey Robin. Everything was picked up within 10kms of the house. I think it’s a bit of unreliable appliances and little competition.
