I memorized the paragraph in a day… it’s legit just, “Hello everyone, before we leave the gate, all passengers must be seated with their seatbelt fastened and tray tables and carry on bags stowed.” Not hard…. 😅😅
I know this video is old. But I have a face to face interview on Nov. 17th. Luckily they had applications for Nashville (I live in Memphis) and can commute to the interview. Because at this time, Allegiant isn’t offering video interviews nor do they pay for your travel to the face to face interview.
i’m not sure what the odds of you seeing this are - but I interview f2f in nashville on the 16th. i’m also here doing my research LOL but i hope your interview goes well!
The reason you did not get hired is because they know you are too good for them and wouldn’t stay and would eventually go to one of the big three. You are AA material. I am a former FA. I have been an RN (critical care and flight nursing) for 26 years and quit being an RN back in the 90s to become an FA for AA. SWA did not hire me. I know why, even though I was professional and a college educated ICU RN I was not funny enough or not enough of a “personality”. AA appreciated my RN experience and my conservative business look. I returned to my RN career after flying for a short time but to this day I refuse to fly SWA, and only fly AA. And now that I go on business trips, and get to book my own trips, I choose AA. I don’t know who you fly for now but I see you as AA all the way.
Thank you for sharing your opinion with us . Yes I believe that there are many reasons why one isn’t chosen .. and I strongly believe that there is a plan for all of us . Your airline will chose you and that’s the path that I followed . I’m glad you stayed true to who you are and that the right airline recognized your YOU , ur talent , and the person you are and welcomed you to their FA family !! I’m happy you were able to find ur happy place . Thanks again for sharing , means a lot 😘
I applied years ago for Sky West and interviewed. They are really, really cheap. I lived in San Diego and had to pay to fly out to Pittsburgh and for lodging for the interview (this is bizarre to me considering they are an airline!). My ground interview went well, and I thought my 1 to 1 went well too, but was rejected. Only reason I applied to Sky West was because there was no foreign language requirement. The major players (Delta, AA, United, and Southwest) want someone bilingual. I don't know a single person from 1990s onward who is just an English only speaker who got hired on any of those airlines due to not being desirable. Spanish isn't even desirable anymore because there are a number of Spanish speakers already.
I got a face to face interview but just found out they Don't pay for travel accommodation to the interview. I live in California and it's in PA. I've been a flight attendant in the past and had several interviews with major airlines and I never had to pay For travel accommodations to the interview. They usually paid for it. I don't have the money to go to it so now I won't be able to go. I'm really dissapointed since I know I would of nailed it.
On flights I feel the same way about the atmosphere. The entire time I was scared because the atmosphere was really tense and depressed and angry. Just a weird mix of I hate life and why am I here
Second guessing yourself is such a drag. I think if it's the right place for you, you'll get the job. Good you stayed positive and kept chasing your dreams!
Hi Shelly, it could’ve been because you showed emotions of being cold in the room or it could’ve been that you didn’t Recite the lines properly, etc.... but I’m glad that you are with our company and i read on one of the comments that you should join AA (American Airlines). Does this ever cross your mind to go to a much bigger company or stay put at our company?(I personally will stay at our company because of a quicker seniority, and I am based in a state where i live.)
I have gone through their interview process , but at this time , I am happy where I am as you stated . I don’t see myself venturing out with any other airlines . Thanks for the suggestions .
Hi dear,,, did my group interview yesterday. I am very sick ( Bronchitis) and totally blew it .. lol. I shouldn't have gone sick .. anyway.. I couldn't get through the speaking in public.. it was too hard for me .. maybe next time.. they make you feel like you're under a microscope for sure... a lot of pressure!
