@@GasMaskBudz He doesn't really have all the attributes. His intangibles were supposed to make up for those physical shortcomings, but it appears to me that they can't. Also I don't get why people are including the interims in our HC numbers.
@evilcoleslaw frank Reich wasn't a interim... yall had 1 and then the new coach this year... his arm strength was nfl ready? Maybe not like Josh Allen and all those flame throwers but it was def way above subpar
Bryce had 2 problems coming into the league that he had no control of. 1. He's too small. 2. The expectations for him were too high because of the overinflated feeling of superiority of the SEC in general and Bama in particular.
I absolutely agree with your second point. The SEC (or Big 10, or whatever hyped up division is under the telescope of recruiters) is NOT equivalent to what the Minor Leagues are to MLB, where all the players are playing with the intent of getting called up into the Majors. A large number of college players are not going to get drafted, and a large number of the players aren't even there with the expectation (or even intent) of going pro. College performance absolutely does not predict performance in the NFL. Yet drafts continue to seem to reflect the hype that was built around college performances. I kind of disagree with your first point, though. At least as far as height goes. Kyler Murray is also 5'10". Russell Wilson is 5'11". They both have or had linemen that were well over 6 feet. Now, the important similarity between Murray and Wilson is that they are incredibly mobile. Can't really say that about Young. But could he adapt? Possibly.
3. He was put in one of the worst situations in professional football. Hes probably not good enough to turn a franchise around but he got almost sabotaged in his rookie season.
@ericriffel8954 Absolutely. Young is a skinny dude. But that's one thing he DOES have control of. They've got training facilities, training staff, and the time needed to bulk up. No doubt he had access to stuff like that when he was going to Alabama, too.
They drafted the top Rb in this years draft in Jonathan Brooks , they also got a young TE in Sanders and the line is playing well if Daltons has any success with the same supporting cast that’s the nail
I literally saw a play where Bryce snapped the ball and had the whole Saints defense in his face when he turned around last year, no help is the nice way of putting it
Nope, in reality Bryce Young is cheeks. The o line is mediocre to even above average and he has new receivers. Andy Dalton lighting it up just ended the "Bryce Young had no chance" narrative.
I really can't believe the bad takes here man. All of the sports media took massive Ls this week defending Bryce young and we still have these goobers trying to gaslight us in youtube comments and reddit posts lol. Open your eyes and watch for yourself. It can't be more obvious.
Last year, yes it was the coaching, staff, and players. This year, nah. We definitely upgraded and made good decisions moving forward on roster moves. I still would give Bryce a chance with the right timing and development because they did just throw him in last year into a bad situation and didn’t have stability. Can’t blame him last year but just these 2 games this season as you can tell his mental is not in a good space. He needs to sit back behind a vet like all rookie quarterbacks used to for development. They should’ve did that last year.
The entire organization lacked faith and played badly. Bryce was at the centre of that crisis. Now with Dalton the faith is back and with it the skill. What's left now is Bryce to learn how to be an NFL QB behind Dalton and win the locker room back. Maybe then he can be the future of Carolina.
@@cbcbrown88 I really don’t care, if their fans think they are only a QB away, then that means two division wins a year are guaranteed for everybody else! Lol

@@lightingthief4482 it’s not even just my dad, his entire side of the family don’t think the kid can play. Yeah he can struggle but he hasn’t shown LITERALLY ANYTHING
Oline- they went out this offseason and fixed the o-line. It’s been one of the best this season so far. TE- drafted Sanders RB - Chuba is a good Rb. Defense - was our strength last year. This year they’ve sucked only because the offense can’t stay on the field. How about we hold Bryce accountable?
There teams in the league that'd love to be ranked 14th, that's not terrible. It doesn't matter who you throw the ball to if you can't accurately get it to them.
Cam says people need to be held accountable, but at some point Bryce has to be held accountable. He’s somehow worse this year than last, when they’ve invested in OL, TE, and WR to help him. If Dalton comes in and the offense looks competent then there’s really only one person to blame…
I think the question at this point is, is Young struggling because he's not NFL material? Or because he hasn't had the opportunity to properly develop into a starting role? His game is rough, no question. But that's not completely unheard of with QBs just coming into the league. In fact, it can generally be expected that there is at least one thing in their game in need of development. Ultimately, I think he's absolutely better off at second string. We'll see if he can develop in a way that makes him starting material, if not with the Panthers, then with one of the other 31 teams.
Did you watch the video. Cam and all the pros including Shannon sharpe mentioned them WRs ain’t gonna cut it. Have you noticed that most wr the panthers didn’t sign an extension are no longer in the nfl or practice squad ex TMJ, Devin Funchess, Kelvin Benjamin. Don’t get me started with the Tight end. Even Greg Olsen saw the shit show coming and retired just like Luke 😅😅. Also you see Chicago only wanted DJ Moore. Let that sink in. Xavier may be their best bet but he’s a rookie. Mingo ain’t it 😂😂
Their best receiver is 36 years old and on the decline, this coming from a Vikings fan who seen the best of #19. I don't know who there RB1 or RB2 is and there TE1 is also young and inexperienced. Let's be real brodie
Tom Brady literally just spoke on this this summer with Stephen A. Young players don't have a chance to actually DEVELOP for the pros anymore. They're just getting thrown into the fire and then criticized when a team (predictably) struggles in winning games.

@learn2xpand862 none of that matters if he can't make a basic read..if you watch tape caleb williams aint playing bad the timing is off but his reads are solid .. he not even making decent reads.
@@colbyryans1018 yeah because he has no confidence, because they haven’t established any run game for him!!! There is no QB that can win a game with their run completely neutralized, it may have happened but you almost never win, now I can agree he’s made bad reads but he had some flashes last year and I think the O line is at the very most meh and his reaching corps is awful, Legette was the worst route runner coming out and this trash organization picked him and thought Sanders would help? It’s just baffling how they’re running this thing

All Of Those Have Gotten Better. O-Line has drastically improved and has been protecting Bryce young unlike last year. The only sacks that have came was when Bryce young extended the play. We couldn’t even evaluate these WR’s because the ball hasn’t been pushed down the field. The WR Group as a whole has improved. Who would you rather have? Diontae Johnson Or DJ Chark? Adam Thielen dispite his age is still competitive and we haven’t even opened up the play book for Legette. I believe this week we look more competitive than the past two weeks. I understand the NATIONAL media has an opinion about this this team for this year, but the national media doesn’t watch our games to truly get a good enough analysis, because if they did, they wouldn’t utter the O-Line as a problem.

The weapons are honestly not bad either. Diontae Johnson is good. Chuba Hubbard is solid. Thielen is a decent safety blanket for an easy 5-7 yard completion. Legette has sky high upside as well. They gave Brice the weapons, it’s his own fault he sucks
Cam deserves to be on a roster spot. Guys like Sam Darnold and Andy Dalton gets opportunities after opportunities. None of them have a MVP and SB appearance to their name
Cam Newton is by far the best quarterback Carolinas ever had but he is so wrong about this. It’s not even funny I watched his tape and I watched Bryce Young tape both when they were in the draft, and it was night and day. I wanted to believe that Bryce would be some stellar quarterback in the NFL, but my mind was telling me he did not have the it factor to make everybody else around him better
I agree with everything you said after the first sentence. Jake Delhomme, for a while, was just as good as Cam. Less athletic and talented, but he got the job done and was a better leader and not a narcissist.
Everything they said was great about Bryce has never been seen. Instead the blame is put on his teammates and the organization because it’s easier to do so. Bryce got himself benched with his bad play. Why blame the team when he takes unnecessary sacks, throws interceptions, overthrows wide open receivers, and doesn’t see the open receivers. Thats on Bryce and the team can’t be accurately evaluated if we have bad QB play.

Bledsoe jersey looks sick man
Those who become great are surrounded by greatness.
@@heyheyhey33351 Not sure about Murray, but Russell Wilson definitely seems to have more bulk.
He can bulk up fasho
@ericriffel8954 Absolutely. Young is a skinny dude. But that's one thing he DOES have control of. They've got training facilities, training staff, and the time needed to bulk up. No doubt he had access to stuff like that when he was going to Alabama, too.
They drafted the top Rb in this years draft in Jonathan Brooks , they also got a young TE in Sanders and the line is playing well if Daltons has any success with the same supporting cast that’s the nail
See what a change in Qb Does
I literally saw a play where Bryce snapped the ball and had the whole Saints defense in his face when he turned around last year, no help is the nice way of putting it
Nope, in reality Bryce Young is cheeks. The o line is mediocre to even above average and he has new receivers. Andy Dalton lighting it up just ended the "Bryce Young had no chance" narrative.
Well well andy dalton did amazing job. So Bryce is probably a problem lol.

Cam is real as it gets
Oline- they went out this offseason and fixed the o-line. It’s been one of the best this season so far.
TE- drafted Sanders
RB - Chuba is a good Rb.
Defense - was our strength last year. This year they’ve sucked only because the offense can’t stay on the field.
How about we hold Bryce accountable?
Being rated 14th isn't much of a upgrade oline
They have 148 total rushing yards as a team. There are single players with more. When Adam is your yards leader. You have a problem
There teams in the league that'd love to be ranked 14th, that's not terrible. It doesn't matter who you throw the ball to if you can't accurately get it to them.
Nah bro Chuba ain’t it I can’t agree with that.
They’re ranked 19th now, so no, not one of the best, stop lying
Cam speaking fax 💯
Probably cause they fired their coach and gave their 1st round pick away.
Did you watch the video. Cam and all the pros including Shannon sharpe mentioned them WRs ain’t gonna cut it.
