Nice video.. I am also looking for tough dog suspension upgrade.. also does these suspension upgrades solved the problem of propeller shaft rubbing against the underbody ? plz connect me to the people concerned and the prices too. I am confused between Tanabe and tough dog.. thanks
Throttle controllers do not actually change anything performance wise in your car, all they do is they stimulate the signal from the pedal to the ecu and the engine so that the ecu gets information to open the throttle quickly . Moreover if you plan to go on high speed and floor the pdal then obviously it will damage your ecu and throttle body. I would always suggest if you need the actual power in your car, go for a stage 1 tune with a air filter change.
@@Themountainkid.x Also some other pro auto blogging channels have shown that the use of EVC is actually quite great. There is quite a lot info available that it works fine, doesn't cause any damage really.. I am not arguing, just wondering...
@@GauravChauhan-mo2nv the warranty wouldn’t get void because they don’t have as such high reading systems to detect a map in your ecu and also if you don’t tell them, they would never know . Basically your ecu gets flashed with a new map which helps your engine to give the actual power on stage 1 .
@@GauravChauhan-mo2nv you’re correct they have said it it works fine and I’ve seen it working fine too if you drive normally and don’t literally go red line on the rpm so it’s a nice addition to your vehicle. The owner of that Jimny might have a lot of knowledge about tuning cars but he certainly doesn't have knowledge about wheels and tyres. On one hand he saved 4-5 kgs by swapping the wheels but on the other hand he installed the more heavier LT (Light Truck) tyres instead of P (Passenger) tyres. He was comparing AT and LT which was hilarious. AT or HT is the tyre tread pattern where as LT or P is the tyre construction type. LT tyres are generally 8-10 ply tyres that make them more heavier and noisier and the P tyres are 2-4 ply tyres making them lighter and quieter.
bro a heavier alloys wont help you anywhere, but a more aggressive tread pattern will help for sure. LT will be far better than a Passenger one for offroad use and for that if i had added weight it will be for good for something for to compensate the weight added i installed the lighter wheels
Actually I recently compared / weighed Cross AT with Yoko AT-LT and they both weigh 14.3kgs / tyre non inflated . Stock tyre of Jimny weighs 9.5 kgs approx
@@7a696d7bro never weight them but yes it’s way more heavy than stock wheels for sure. So to compensate that weight inc I have installed lighter wheels. Though not that much weight loss but still will help
Hey , the mileage increase as you open up the engine to its full potential but it majorly depends upon your driving style . If you have a heavy foot on the accelerator/gas pedal then obviously it’ll drop otherwise there are always gains and never a loss . It probably gives around 14-16 in the city
@@Themountainkid.x I am getting 11.5 - 12 in city , 13.5 highway so far, only 1000 plus driven, hope this will improve in coming days with consecutive services, only first done.
@@ExploreWithSandeepG absolutely it will because having the oils to be changed , spark plugs to be cleaned and other aspects such as throttle body and air filter cleaning make a pretty good difference in getting good performance from the engine . Also the smooth working of the engine comes into play when the engine starts to work for a longer period of time and not just high speeds but longer distances .

The gains you’re talking about right , see on a naturally aspirated engine you would get about 8-10% gain on power and almost 5-7% on torque . Also depends upon what ecu remap are you going for
