Russia is too tall and powerful. But hats off to Iran for playing it close with Russia. Its nice to see an Asian team keeping the game close with Western teams. Just keep on fighting, right time will come that an Asian team can dominate the Mens Volleyball (just like China and Japan in Womens).

Love the way Kurkaev times his spike a little bit late so that the block is already descending when he wacks it!!! Brilliant!!! Like the older players but these young guns are fantastic!!! All the best from Canada to both teams!!! Iran actually played an ok game but this day Russia was just too strong!!! Better luck next time, Iran!!! I know you'll do much better then!!!
Poletaev is ridiculous hitting over the block almost every single time

@@stevenkoja5 poletaev gives the opposite a different look since he's a lefty and he can jump. Wow! Mikhailov on the other hand is so fluid when he plays opposite. They would definitely be in the roster for Tokyo

@@sergey9839 Егорка растет. Каждый год осваивает что-нибудь в совершенстве. Три года назад он не умел принимать. Потом резко научился принимать "флоты", в прошлом году прибавил в приеме силовой. А в этом доводил любую подачу на пятак связующему. И еще подает в нужные моменты. Не умаляя качеств Леона, Клюка уже намного сильнее него в приеме и защите. Атакуют они уже одинаково хорошо, Леон сильнее на подаче

Russia is truly a force to reckoned with this Olympic cycle. Their youngsters and their veterans plays effectively in this game. Whoever plays, plays at his best. Brazil and Italy and other powerhouse team, on the other hand, has their youngsters play a very limited time. Russia, US, Poland has so many talented young players in their pool.

i felt that marouf was not as versatile with his sets today and the iranian team lacked their usual 'flair'.. maybe because i didn't see the full match, but either way, great job to russia. they've been absolutely unbeatable so far, and their team this year is full of talented veterans.
Russia has a good mix of veterans and young guns. Kliuka, volkov and iakovlev are in their early 20's

The russian setter should give the ball higher to his middles. Its weird seeing Kurkaev and Volvich getting blocked. And Muserkiy's were getting touched by the blocks too!!!
I don't feel bad for Iran, cuz I know they're going to kick ass in Jan and qualify through the Asian continental qualification 🙌😎.

Iran didn't play their best. Something was really off 😩😩. With that being said. Russia will have a tough time given the pool they're in with :BRAZIL, USA, FRANCE, ARGENTINA & TUNISIA.

Затратили сил ровно сколько нужно. Бутько уже не торт. Не тянет, читают его. Какой смысл ставить Михайлова в диагональ, если его надрачивают на 4? Центры хороши, вариативность у трэнера огромная. Клюка ленится, думает, что он так всегда будет прыгать. Сначала создает трудности, потом преодолевает. В 3 партии Гафура ни разу не закрыл, а Волков сразу. Семычев не понра. Подача планер в сетку, много скидывает, когда пиздячить надо. Ладно была бы как у Волкова.
волков прыгает чуть в стороне и в последний момент скидывает руки в линию, когда нападающий думает, что она свободна, скольких уже так отловил. клюка наоборот - у него за счёт роста и прыжка лучше получается сбрасывать руки в ход, а если он делает это в линию то у него там дыра под руками, из-за высокого прыжка, в которую невысокий гафур и проходил либо чисто, либо блок-аут. а так оба красавчики, если существенных травм избежат, через год-два будут на пике. ждём ЧЕ и кубок мира. турниров до токио много, вот туомас и наигрывает максимум игроков, одним составом не потянуть

@@marlena.4605 Przecież nie napisałem powyżej że wieszam medale na szyjach polskich graczy i pewnym jest że wygrają wrześniowe ME i za rok IO. Mówię tylko, że jak polski zespół z Kurkiem który wróci po kontuzji zgra się na nowo to naprawdę mało kto będzie mógł z nami rywalizować na równi.
