This is going to be fabulous! I’m thinking of make cylinder shaped piece to use as a cache pot to cover the an unattractive plant pot (if that makes sense). The pot itself doesn’t have a drainage hole so hopefully my cover won’t get water damaged. Hugs and blessings, 🤗❤️🇨🇦
Great idea. I think I will do the batting first and use it as a template for the inner side and outside pieces. I might just cut a slit down the middle of each dart and overlap the dart edges. Once all the other bits have been stitched on, the raw edges will be hidden and secure. ❤

Sarah there are some utube videos out there for bowl cozies for putting in microwave. They come out quite nice.

What an awesome idea Sarah, I think i like your approach a little better than Rachael's. She is fabulous with just winging it, but I know me and this approach your using would be more comfortable for me. I can just picture so many options for this one and can't wait to see what the group comes up with. I have had to cut back on crafting due to looking after family with health issues but every now and then I get ten minutes or so to play. I need to take more time for this and less yard work and cleaning house might help. Crafting truly is my best therapy Thanks for sharing and all the wonderful inspiration. Hugs and Smiles

Great idea. The pleats are actually darts and will give you a shape to your bowl. It will look beautiful I'm sure.

Great idea! I did fabric bowls about 10 yrs. Ago ..I like the slow stitching to add interest..could do holiday themed ones to add to you decor.. here I go again...thanks😊
