- Hey thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you these precious first days postpartum! I wanted to introduce you to our newest and possible last child, Wolfgang! He is such a sweet bundle of joy! We are so thrilled to have him complete our family and join in on the chaos! It is a whirlwind of emotions for sure and I'm feeling all of them!

Its interesting that you constantly say, “its my last.” Im wondering if you can reframe that in your mind so you are joyful about the minutes that pass by. You are growing 5 incredible humans. Every stage is so exciting. I LOVED my daughter’s senior year of high school. Absolutely loved it. You have SO MUCH to look forward to - 5 times over!! ❤
I have six children, and I keep saying I’m done. I feel like I have to be done… and then I am so unsettled in that decision. After this last baby I cried and cried over the thought of never having another, but I kept telling myself that I have to stop. You know what? You don’t have to be done. You can be open to more. You can plan for more. You can have all the babies! You can have ‘just one more’. You can be open to simply saying ‘maybe someday’ …and then let go of that ache and enjoy the ‘right now’. But there is nothing at all wrong with having more!!! The childbearing years are really short lived. Enjoy it!!!
Kim, seeing you doing all of this housework just a few days postpartum, made me do it too at almost 11 years postpartum 😜 thank you! And Wolfgang is really very cute💙🍼

You are a fantastic Momma.. he is absolutely adorable. Big boy. He is just perfect. Snuggle Snuggle Snuggle.. I'm a gramma now several times over. I've adopted and raised 4 of my grandkids which now range from 21 down to 16 . Even this 2nd round having each one from birth went by so so quickly and I'd never change a thing. I'm now looking forward to my first great grandchild due in January 23. From my oldest of 14 grandkids. Love your videos Kim.

I have a two year old daughter and am due with a boy at the end of January. My daughter watched this video with me, and she kept saying "hold baby" cause she wanted to hold Wolfgang. I'm so excited to see her be a big sister. 🥺 He will be our second and last, so I'm trying to enjoy every moment of being pregnant, as best as I can with a toddler. ❤️
You should soooooo be a mid-wife! My daughter is 41 and I'm still learning things from you that nobody taught me when I was young and having babies. New mothers NEED you to help them through the process.
I was thinking the same. I wish when I had my babies a doctor or nurse would have told me more information about the complications of breast feeding. I feel like every mom should get a coach automatically for all complications with pregnancy and after care.

I am a single mom with a 10 yo son and a little girl who just turned 2. Even though my life is beyond everwhelming at all times and I couldn't have another baby, I think the emotional process of knowing you aren't having any more babies should be talked about more. Thank you for sharing how hard it is and reminding us that you are a real person too. have been here for years and am so happy for you guys to have grown your family again! We of course miss you, but we allow you to have maternity leave 😅- I have been rewatching some oldies. Anyone else?
Oh I bet you’ve heard it all being a teacher!! I used to read the heads letter for our kids school in a podcast and the kids names some of them I was like how do I even pronounce this!!! Lol all beautifully different and special!

Just watched a Kim and Alex Q&A from FIVE years ago 🥹… Wentworth was 3 months. Kim says she wants 5 children, and the next if it’s a boy Wolfgang and if it’s a girl, Meredith!! Wow! How amazing. Let’s have another Q&A once everything has settled! Haha ❤️

Girl you are a superwoman. Never forget that. You never fail. No days. You inspire us so much. I don’t even have kids yet but you make me feel like having them would be worthwhile.

Grandma from Kentucky here... there is nothing that compares to a sweet newborn baby. For a grandma...there's nothing any better. Enjoy your sweet precious baby boy 💙💙💙
He is so precious Kim! Congrats!! I have met so many moms over the years who have told me they wished they had had more children. You will never regret having more but you very well might regret not having more. And doing something that is permanent can be very detrimental to your marriage as well. Postpartum time is definitely not the time to be deciding such a big decision. I would also encourage you all to just give it to God and allow Him to plan your family. When you take control it’s harder to know when you’re done because humanly speaking it’s hard! Bearing children is tough. We will always have an excuse as to why another would be too hard. But giving it to God gives you a lot of peace knowing He will give you the exact number of children He knows you should have and His plan is always infinitely better then ours. Our sweet pastor told us “Children are the glue that will hold your marriage together. And God will give your marriage the exact amount of children you both need to make it.” I always think about that and I think it is so true. We are expecting our 7th right now and I must say after our 1st my birth was so tough with him that if I had made the decision back them I may not have had any more children. Or definitely not 7. Lol But giving that part of us to God and letting Him decide is so beautiful and I would not have had these next 6 and oh how much I would have missed out on. Blessings! ❤️❤️

I too haven't had. Kids and I'm 67. Plenty of nieces great nieces nephew's and love them so much. Saw each one born. Thanks to Kim got to be with her, you tube, too!

Every day is beautiful, in its own way: enjoy that baby. My mom used to tell me he sleeps, you sleep. No. I couldn't knowing I had a million and one things to-do. Plus add a new baby who is like unraveling a mystery. Great joy and happiness to you all!
The days are long but the years are short. As a mom of a 26 year old and a 3 year old as well as a Nana to 1yr old & 2 mo old grand babies, nothing is more true than this statement.

What a difference a yr makes-,this time last year u were morning ur sweet sister & now ur celebrating a beautiful baby boy! U r truly my She-ro. U take everything in stride & had ur son in 2 1/2hrs. My son was a little bigger than yours & was c-section! U r doing a fantastic job w/ur sweet little family & have an amazing attitude! God bless u! Love ur videos.

He is just precious, Kim. He definitely has his own look, he does not seem to have the same features as your other babies.
Those early newborn days are the best thing in life. I only had 2 babies because I was not young, definitely wish I had more!
I think your heart will let you know if he should be your last baby or not. I always wanted more ( grew up in a big family) but my husband was from a family of 2, so that was his perfect number. God is good and gave me some teens that needed help in life that we took in for a while but it is never like the relationship with your own children.
You look great, BTW, but I know that you are tired so rest up all you can with that baby in your arms 💙♥️

Watching Kim do the “mommy rock” when you’re standing and just start swaying - what memories. My babies are 25 and 28 years old and I still find myself swaying at times ..... ☺️

When my youngest was still a newborn I went to the grocery store alone and in the line up I realized I was pushing the shopping cart back and forth like a stroller 😅

Our daughter had colic, so swaying was a constant. Fast forward to 26 and if I hug someone I can still sway!! Lol 🤣
I was in the grocery store many years ago, standing in line, and was rocking back and forth without really paying attention to it. The sweet lady behind me said “you must have a newborn at home” and she was right! My four “babies” are all grown now, but I still sometimes do the mommy rock without realizing!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I so much appreciate how real you are with us. It's so helpful to normalize for women what post partum is really like and that it's ok - so much of what we see and hear is not real and makes women feel inadequate. I just appreciate how you educate your viewers and keep it real!

I didn’t know the meaning of recover, it was hard to recover because I felt the best I had in 9 months with both of my babies that I just wanted to go go go.

He is so handsome! Some babies look their gender and some you can't tell by seeing their face alone. He is a boy for sure! You had a huge baby in that tiny body of yours. Give yourself lots of grace. I tried to soak in those first weeks home with our last baby. By my third one, I knew he wouldn't be little very long and I would miss it. I don't remember being so emotional post-partum. My husband worked two jobs when we brought home all three of our babies. I had C-sections and could not just sit and do nothing. I would have made myself crazy and nothing would have been done. So, I feel your need to get busy. Do what makes you happy! I mean, in the old days women birthed babies and farmed the fields the next day. I love doing laundry and anything else while everyone is in bed.
I feel this soooo much. We’re expecting #4 (our last) this December. I’m getting pretty uncomfortable now and I’m constantly exhausted, which makes caring for three kids and a house harder but I’m trying so hard to soak in being pregnant one last time and just enjoy this season. So bitter sweet. Hugs mama 💕

Oh Kim! 😍 I feel you on the whole last thing! It’s breaking my heart and I still end up crying some random times about it! Thank you for being true and dirty! We all postpartum moms (heck moms in general) thank you for keeping it real. We all have dirty “nasty” pjs on just trying to relax/heel and keeping it together. You look amazing truly I mean that!
