You give inspiration to Jeepers everywhere, especially a beginner such as myself 😀 your videos have helped me do many repairs before. One day they'll help with my ZJ build 🇺🇸

    It might not work too good in Tennessee, but with a little welding and sheet metal you can make a diy swamp cooler. They don't use much electricity and need a small water tank with a return line. I made one on my rock rig and it works pretty good, plus you'll have non crusty boogers

    I don't know how it would fit but a ball joint press would be awesome to counter the vice. Maybe figure out a way to make your spare jack mount to double as the press piston. That would be some good engineering and highly practical.

    on the rock slider on the other side you could put a weld-on receiver hitch to mount other tools but allow them to be removable. i have seen vices mounted on work tucks that way, but you already have a vice...

  • @scottgephart9749
    @scottgephart9749 6 лет назад

    There may not be enough room, but it would be cool to find some small oxy acetylene tanks and put them on the little platform behind the passenger door. That way you could do some welding on the trail (if you absolutely need to). My favorite thing had to be watching you and Jeremy work through all the multiple different issues that you guys had with this project...and persevering to what it is now.

    Thinking if your going to start taking it to different events to wheel. You might look for an old big truck AC roof box ( Red Dot was a common brand). Mount iit in the rear near the fuel cell with electric fans. Run cooler lines inside to a Vintage air system box between the seats. Plum some ducting around the cab via center console to have vented from the dash. Then not only rolling and looking cool, but you will be feeling it too. LOL

    Wouldn’t you want to increase the tire size to 44”+ to correct that approach angle conundrum that you lamented over after you took the heap on the trail? The springs are a nice bit of history, you still have incredible travel. Although your spring hangers are begging for those larger tires.
