First time I've heard David Samson and I think he's a superb interviewer! Knowledgeable, patient and conducts a great interview. He doesn't interrupt or try to turn the interview into something about himself.

I’m definitely going to buy this book because I love Larry Bird and the Celtics, but one thing bothers me; If Chief doesn’t like you, that tells me a while lot.

I think Robert P. was the perfect Center for Boston during those times with wingmen like Bird and McHale. So solid and reliable and so dedicated to team basketball.

Lol, Boston started the super team trend in the NBA with Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett joining Paul Pierce, not Lebron’s “The Decision”. 7:29
(I probably have to say this for you dolts but for the record, I am not a lebron fan)

So the Shaq/ Kobe/ Mailman/ Payton Lakers and the Olajuwon/ Barkley/ Pippen/ Rockets came after the 2009 Celtics?
What were the 80's Sixers, Celtics and Lakers? The only difference is that LeBron is the only one who picked up the phone and created a Superteam. Because he wasn't going to win without doing so

@@adamr6794 The difference is GM's built those teams and did a better job than LeBron can. Not to slam LeBron but a good GM doesn't sacrifice the future for one good season. LeBron doesn't have time to scout college players so he keeps looking to build teams around aging stars.
