I was going to visit this location in September whilst staying in Santo Domingo de Silos and visiting Sad Hill, but I don’t think I’ll bother as it’s unrecognisable from the film. Good video though.
That movie set no longer exists. It is now a parking lot outside of Madrid(you might find the odd post in the ground). Originally built for Jayne Mansfield and the first Western filmed in Spain, set director Carlo Simi demolished it to represent the shelled City of Peralta. It really happened, even if Peralta was more low adobe homes.
