    Great video. Great plaice. Who the hell would press the dislike button without having the decency to place a comment saying why they did so?. I am just pleased you continue to make the vids for the rest of us, thank you.

    wats the akios like compare to the penn 525?

      @SEAFISHINGwithCJ  Год назад

      They are both great reels, im using the akios with mono and the penns with braid, the akios is really smooth.

    The rod camera footage was interesting pesky crabs where all over your bates.

    • @SEAFISHINGwithCJ
      @SEAFISHINGwithCJ  3 года назад

      I dont know the answer, once the smooth hounds move in they wont be so confident, I wonder if moving the bait is a solution.

    • @davidallen7540
      @davidallen7540 3 года назад

      3 foot hook lengths and adding 3no pop up beads or section of foam has worked for me in the past. I think the extra length and movement makes it harder for bait robbing crabs.

    Probably would of got a few more if it wasn't for those darn crabs.Looked like the plaice were interested but couldn't get to the bait because the crabs were on it

      @@SEAFISHINGwithCJ there are a few issues. I'm no expert and writing about them won't necessarily convey the full meaning. Watch some of the youtube vids by some of the known 'expert' e.g. John Holden. The biggest thing I would say is you must keep your arms straighter, especially your right arm. Push away with your right and then dip the rod tip, keep your right arm straight and initiate the back swing by pushing with your left arm, turn your head, leaving your arms behind, and look up at 11o'clock in the direction you are casting. This should naturally raise your left hand above your right so the the rod tip stays down, now pull through and when the rod is loaded pull with the left. Now, there is a bit more to it in terms of timing and this short para may not help. As I said; watch some vids or, better still, get some expert tuition. Hope it helps [thumbsup]
