2860 did not pull the royal train in 1939. That was a sister locomotive, 2850. 2860 wasn't built until 1940 and the royal visit was in 1939. 2850, I believe, is located in the railway museum in Delson, Quebec.

They made a major expansion to the museum years ago without parking accommodation and renamed it to the BC railway museum. Born in Squamish, everything sucks here now bcuz it’s too infested with tourists. Ever since the Olympics.
@@laticsfan The Baldwin DRS4-4-1000 #8000 is supposed to go into the roundhouse after it’s restoration. Being it’s the last example of that model of locomotive in existence and CP’s first diesel road switcher let’s hope so.

@@laticsfan oh no I completely agree, I just feel it should be better preserved and protected and not quite as tourism-driven.
They put the Royal Hudson inside and leave all their other locomotives outside to rot.
Better use could be made of the roundhouse.
