Looks like a recent update has brought unit settings to the watch. So if you are a fan of pounds, miles, and Fahrenheit you are in luck! Thanks to @Cosmo_The_Turkish_Mix for sharing this!
All the bugs are being worked out. I've had it (the watch) for 3 weeks. In that time I have had 3 updates. Getting really good. More than just a pretty watch. Enjoy.
That is good to know. I'm still in the middle of reviewing the Pixel Watch 2 right now, but once I wrap that up I think I'm going to have to go back and do an update of the Watch Pro. Thanks for sharing!
Hope they fix the connectivity issue, im fine with opening the app once in a while but like you said i dont like missing a notification, other than that i really like this watch and its design i might consider buying it
That was definitely my biggest issue with the watch as well. If they don't resolve the issue with this watch then I will be looking for them to do so with the sequel, which I will definitely check out.
I just got the CMF Watch Pro, it was on a lighting deal so I paid $61.88 total., and it had an update needed out of the box. The connectivity seems to be really good, so I think its save to say they have improved it via an update.
@@RandoTechInfo awsome! I look forward to that video. Fortunately being only 5 months old, There is still plenty of time for updates to improve functionality.
@@Gadgets-N-Gear So I have been retesting the watch for the past few days, and sadly, the connectivity issues are still an issue for me and my phone, even after all of the updates, additionally, even when the watch is connected it can't receive RCS chats, just SMS. I am currently using an S24 ultra so perhaps different phones work better with the app. I'll keep testing it every once in a while and see if things get better on my end. Appreciate your comment and the updates. Thanks.
@@RandoTechInfo That’s too bad. I found you do have to leave the CMF Watch app running in the background, and if I do that the connection seems pretty good most of the time. I use the iPhone SE 2, and it’s been a great phone for me. I am hopeful CMF (Nothing) will keep improving the software and releases more updates soon. For a budget watch I think it’s really good, and the hardware is definitely a step above the others in its class imo. although it’s not mature in its software yet, being only around 4-5 months old, I still really love the watch especially since it’s my first smartwatch and I haven’t gotten a taste for the expensive flagships yet. I enjoyed watching your video and I’ll keep an eye out for more! Thanks for interacting with me, keep it up!

As of this writing they’ve fixed majority of the bugs. I’m using it on iOS and so far so good the last firmware update fixed many of the pending issues
Sadly I just retested it last week and the connection issues I experienced during the review still remain. Perhaps it's working better on iOS than Android?
@@FitzelgardMisledz the watch still disconnects from my phone multiple times per day. @@RandoTechInfo I was able to replicate the same issue, my guess is that the app syncs on specific times and the watch does it to preserve battery life but seems the app not running in the background even if it’s set to run in the background might be the issue. Alright for a first try I think, but the disconnecting issues and the thick bezels put me off. In this day and age, theres no reason at all for thick bezels.
Yeah, the bezels are going to be a sticking point for some. For me the biggest issue was connectivity, which software updates could fix. No software updates are going to help those bezels though. I do think we will see some improvements across the board with the next model. I also think we will see an increase in price.
@@RandoTechInfo Definitely, like all OnePlus and Nothing devices they start off cheap, get you into the brand then edge the price up, I wouldn't mind paying extra for this design with slimmer bezels and better connectivity though
is there any info on when there will be a newer version? and do you think its worth getting, or should i wait for new updates. or a newer version of it
Since this version just came out I don't think you will see a sequel for a while. Whether it's worth getting for you I think will depend on your use cases. If accurate health tracking and notifications are really important to you I would probably wait. If those things are lower priority then I think it's a good watch for the money.

Just adding that you can change the units by:
1) Going to the 4th tab in app
2) Tapping the settings icon in top right
3) Tapping unit settings
