Speaking as someone who has become a self-proclaimed master at picking out Nandermo crumbs in any episode I can find them since S3E2 (where it’s first hinted that Guillermo has feelings for Nandor)… This episode was less crumbs and more actual bites!!! As soon as I heard Nandor say “I wish Marwa would like everything I like” and he ran out of wishes my eyes got so wide. Then the Marwa kissing and hugging Guillermo moment + Nandor leaving the dance floor (and Marwa) to go share a tender moment with a sleeping Guillermo… The writers *have* to know what they’re doing.

When this happened I was confused by the kissing before becoming absolutely gobsmacked at the implication she does it because of Nandors wish. I spent the next minute screaming with excitement into a pillow. The writers really know what they are doing, my tiny shipper heart thanks them.
Also the beginning where Guillermo falls through the floor and Nandor instantly jumps to save him! I could feel the difference between them in this season instantly.
YES! Where before Nandor would half-heartedly call down to Guillermo to see if he's okay (alive to do his Familiar duties), Nandor showed concern for Guillermo throughout that entire scene. MY HEART
I am fully convinced that this is what Nandor actually wanted to do/say when Guillermo was comforting him before the wedding. Also, I find it *very interesting* that Nandor is always rejecting Memo’s touch and then Marwa is over there gently caressing his face and peppering him with little kisses. And, you know, she likes what Nandor likes. I can’t 😭
Aaaaaw, they're so cute. Oof, poor Marwa, I hope she gets her life back eventually, it's a little scary to think about the implications of this wish in a broader sense. The way you cut together the scenes at the end is nice, you illustrated that parallel very well!

Oh it's 100% not just you. Nandor and Guillermo match quite frequently and there are so many shots in this episode where THEY look like the couple about to be married. I'm like 99% sure Guillermo’s outfit is a fully custom suit too, whereas poor Marwa was in a David's Bridal dress covered in appliques. 😅
When Nandor covers up the forehead doodle because he doesn’t want to anyone to be mean to Guillermo… ❤️ I really love seeing his character growth this season. I don’t think his newfound respect came from knowing Guillermo could kill him so easily, but instead from a genuine appreciation for how hard he sees Guillermo works for him, which he probably wouldn’t even have thought about if Guillermo didn’t start advocating for himself. So proud of both of these boys. They both needed to grow in order to be closer
He also had to spend a year without Guillermo and didn't know why. (For all he knew, Guillermo just abandoned him.) That kind of thing can really make you reflect.

I'm hoping they will but slowly. They've been renewed for a season 6, so maybe they fall in love over season 5 then in the finale they get together. Then season 6 is their relationship changing and they end the slow with Nandor turning Guillermo into a vampire because he's found someone to spend eternity with.
