    In Exercise 50, we are going to design an interesting overlapping pattern on a non-uniform surface fruit basket by using surfacing and features commands in Solidworks.
    After following this video tutorial, you will learn to create complex overlapping patterns on axis symmetry bodies by using an easy approach in Solidworks.
    Important Commands Used:
    -Revolve Surface
    -Surface Sweep (with Twist Value)
    -Move/ Copy Body (Translation and Rotation)
    -Split Line
    -Circular Pattern
    -Offset Surface
    -Loft Surface
    -Thicken
    -Fillet (Full Round Fillet)
    -Sweep Boss/ Base (with Twist Value)
    -Combine
    -Change Appearance

    Thanks, I always struggled to make weaving overlapping each others. This solution seems great. I'll try it next time !

    What is the difference between "merge" and "combine"?

    • @EasyCADSolutions
      @EasyCADSolutions  Год назад +1

      Both do the same thing. But Combine is a separate operation where you can do Union(Add), Subtraction and Intersection (Common)
      But Merge is not a separate feature it belongs to a certain feature in Solidworks and allows us to merge or unmerge the created body to the existing solid body
      Merge is present in like every feature command in Solidworks or the feature which makes a solid body must have Merge option inside it
      Basically Merge comes inside the feature command and combine is a separate operation in Solidworks
      Hope it helps you 🤗

    Why doesn't my thickness feature work, it does thicken it but I can't see the results. What could be the issue?

    • @EasyCADSolutions
      @EasyCADSolutions  Год назад

      1st thickness or 2nd one?

    • @maulik494
      @maulik494 Год назад

      Oh no brainer I solved it by creating offset on both sides and then using the thickness of the dimensions, worked perfectly!
