I had to work on release day, so had no chance of getting anything by the time I knocked off that evening. I will be waiting for the restocks and crossing my fingers.
Edit to update my 2 cents on reselling and LGS selling at huge markup. I am 100% against people buying up all the stock just so they can make a quick buck. I refuse to pay above retail for Prismatic Evolutions or other sets, especially on release. The fact you can’t go into a store and get it on release day or even release weekend is insanity! I also don’t think it’s right for LGS to be selling single packs or other products at a huge markup at release either. I wouldn’t want to buy from them again after seeing that. It’s different when the set is no longer being printed and the ETBs etc are I still in demand. But not on release.
I’m in Sydney and there was no chance at all to get anything prismatic related unless you pre ordered last year. Waiting for the big restock in a month or 2 and journey together set and then team rocket
I don’t blame “scalpers” at all. I place all of the blame at the Pokemon card company that deliberately short shipped the product creating an environment where there’s money to be made on re selling 🤷♀️
Sunshine collectables however are horrible and I’m not surprised at all that they were selling at overly inflated prices

Don't get me started on how the group hunting makes my fists ache, where some deliberately go out there to generate a false economy and screw up things for other collectors/gamers. It is worse than the tosser game stores that start doing supermarket gouging and ripping the punter off. Some UTube goons advising people to buy and stock up as an investment is not helping.
I have left the Pokeverse again and am going to use the funds to buy some real gaming products. I know some of my favorite RPGs have released or scheduled new content. You can NEVER have too many dice.
