Wow that Batman 18 with the Axis leaders is an awesome one to own. I love it! I just noticed it is a 4th of July cover too. Even better. Batman 27 is another fun one with Santa. Batman 251 is one I hope to add one day if the price is right. Great collection Jerry.

An amazing collection. I'm just beginning my golden age Batman collection so this is an inspiring video. I'm focusing on Detective Comics. I wonder if qualified grades are for missing non-story pages versus .5 for story page missing?
Thanks Mike. Good look on your hunt. I believe the qualified grade is CGC giving you a break for higher grade books with them saying “if the book had this missing part it would be” the qualified grade, but blue label.

I’m sorry… but I wish these grading companies could maybe do a less obtrusive encapsulation. I’m all for knowing what grade your books are if that’s what you’re about, and I get trying to preserve them in those slabs- but those strips with the big dumb numbers and the hologram on the top are ugly AF. They distract from the aesthetics of the books. It looks like they put small code numbers and barcodes on that blue strip- why not put that in a small strip on the side so you don’t have to see it every time you want to appreciate your covers? Just my opinion. But I’m also in the camp of bagging and boarding so you can still read them.

The gun on issue 15 looks like a Browning M 1917 which would be a 30 caliber not a 50 caliber lol. Awesome books anyway you look at it.

I've got Batman #12 as well which has moderate professional restoration and would grade at 5.0
I have a Batman #38 as well with a CGC grade of 5.0
