  • It feels strange to be doing "normal" things like posting videos in - to put it entirely inadequately - strange, unsettling, and upsetting times. But I find that doing things -things that I hope help people find strength in their messages - helps me find strength and focus too. So, this week, I'm returning to what started it all - a fresh examination of my Red Thread. Stay well, and safe, friends.

Hi has anyone ever told you you look like Jamie Lee Curtis. She is one of my favorite actresses. Thanks for the knowledge on the red thread.

Sometimes, yes! She's one of my favorites, too, so thanks for saying so!

There is also the belief that a red thread connects the body and soul.

I am surprised that this is a thing out of India !! and that it contains the same significance out of India! This is supposed to be a very religious object in Hinduism: the priest ties it to people's hands after every ritual or every important festival or in a temple!! And if I say atleast 30% Hindus wear it all the time; I won't be wrong!!

I found it very telling when she started the video with ‘Eastern philosophy’ and then did not at all mention Indian or Chinese significance of red and wearing sacred threads. Also, “Eastern philosophy” is not one ‘belief system’ but many. This video is ill informed. What about the Jewish tradition of wearing a red thread? The Kaballah tradition is most well know for its use of the red thread. I am amused how much time you spend on the British Royal Navy and the Greeks...typical ill informed western attitudes

Woe to the deceivers and the false prophets. What will protect you from the wrath of God on the Great Day of Judgement, strings and amulets, or Yeshua (Jesus), who died for you, to deliver you from your sins. Read the Scriptures, ask God to forgive you and give you the righteousness of the Messiah Jesus. Jesus promised that he/she who believes in Him will not be judged, but had passed from death to life. Please go into your room, close the door behind you and pray to Heavenly Father of the Lord Jesus, to show you the ultimate Light and Truth and you will meet Him.

And than there is the red thread from Zerah, Judah had twins the birthright belongs to the first born, at the time of delivery the midwife had a red ribbon ready to tie around the hand of the firstborn. Zerah stuck his hand out first so he was the firstborn, however pharez was breach and he came out first. So from pharez line came the line of David and Jesus. A lot of knowledgeable folks know this and this is the basis for the wrong Jews are in isreal. I am from the line of Zerah and most of us can now be found in Ireland and or subsequently shipped abroad to the many colonies ie australia.

@@916bigAl Jesus said no such thing. Jesus is the son of God born as man and Jesus IS God and can DO ALL things. Read the Bible instead. Jesus can save your soul. No one else can.

How about we all just believe in ourselves. Then we won’t need to make up gods to believe in.

@@Jay-yy9ol IF it saved my soul. Sure. You use your free will as you see fit and I'll use mine as I see fit. Except I want to try and lead others to Jesus who does save, instead of believing in myself and hoping for the best. So far humans don't have a great track record. As great as I think I am, I'm not saving anyone, let alone myself.

This video is extremely ill informed and very biased towards the west. Three of the main explanations of the red thread you say? And yet you miss out the Hindu, Chinese, And Jewish significances of the red thread. When you say “Eastern Philosophy” which one are you referring to? Especially when you say “in that belief system”....it seemed more like you were painting the entire of eastern philosophy with one brush. Wearing the red thread has deep spiritual meaning. You are cherry picking meanings from only western sources like the British ritual navy and Greek mythology to align to your business goals. Also, the Greeks were entirely set apart from the ancient west. Most places in the ‘west’ were running around in blue paint and living like savages when in the east great civilisations grew and still maintain ancient traditions. the whole of the west cannot claim Greek success as their own.
