    Just a quick update, the desk, and chair still hold up! My wife and I use it up to 8 hours a day at different heights, and my kid still plays with the controller. IF I have any issues, I'll be sure to let you know.

    Thanks very much for spending the time to put together this review.
    I've been looking at getting a standing desk for a few weeks now and was almost set on the omnidesk until I looked at their reviews. By chance I got recommended desky and it seems to have some very good reviews and happy customers such as yourself.
    Good to know it holds up to the test of time as it would be getting some use in my house (gamer)

      I've had a lot of good luck regarding Desky products so far. I don't really take care of my desk as you can probably tell (my kid sits on it a lot). Regardless it's really held up and looks as good as the day I bought it.

    Hey mate, what’s the finish like on the desktop? Is it smooth and polished like a hardwood or laminate or is more textured/fibrous like I’ve seen in other bamboo furniture?

    • @Payne.
      @Payne.  11 месяцев назад +1

      Smooth and polished.

    Hi Payne, Good review and thanks for putting it together. Thank you to your kid for starring in it too 👌. On the business end and you can tell me to "myob" 😉😋😛- how does one get free items sent by Desky? Is it because you were doing a review and they were looking for advertisers/promos? And this one.. that cable management thingy under the desk, what is the accessory please? I plan to buy a large sit/stand desk and considering..."the Integrated Cable & Data Channel + 4 Powerpoints" option. Any tips or suggestions on this choice i.e. should I go for the 8 one etc?

    • @Payne.
      @Payne.  10 месяцев назад +2

      Hey, the thing under the desk is the cable and data channel, it's up to you if you want an additional four points. Until recently I had the channel but no points integrated, I just ran a normal powerboard and while it didn't look pretty it was totally functional.
      Desky has been really good to me, my first ever review was well received and they reached out. My reviews aren't sponsored but they do send me the occasional accessory from time to time.

    Thanks for the video. Is the desk very stable at standing height? Is there much wobble?

    • @Payne.
      @Payne.  Год назад +1

      There isn't much wobble at standing height, I use it close to the maximum and it's been great.

    Hey, i was looking at getting one of these desks, but i havnt seen anyone do a shake test on it to see how wobbly it is. Do you have any insight on this?

    • @Payne.
      @Payne.  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yep check out my original video. I show a shake test at full height.

    • @kerupt_
      @kerupt_ 10 месяцев назад +1

      @Payne. yeah checked that video out, didn't really show what I'm after. I wanted to see how much play/ wobble the desk has at a seated height. I want to know how much the table will move with a decent shake. My desk right now is solid, I can kick it all day no wobble.

      Not that I'm aware of. I don't believe there is a manual way to adjust the desk if the power is out.

    how do get free chair and arm ?

    • @Payne.
      @Payne.  6 месяцев назад +1

      I made a video of the desk and they liked it enough to provide me with a chair and arm which I also made a video for.

  •  26 дней назад +1

    If you are getting stuff for free your review is compromised

    • @Payne.
      @Payne.  25 дней назад +1

      I understand why you feel that way. I've answered this comment before but the desk was never free and without receiving the chair for free this review would never exist. I guess the upside is you get to see some shots of the chair and it may help you decide if it's right for you. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
