Nice video dude. Please make LTA south video too . I think ceos will need a 1 or 2 splits for envolved in macro but he is a good talent the Duo with Bvoy is hype. Dignitas and Disguised is for me the two most week rosters .if Shopyfy or Lyon get these two teams they can become top 4 and go to playoffs. The first split Lucky will be in game too .
Are you doing an LTA south video? Not familiar if you even watch the region lol edit: ok Im glad you're doing it! big fan of these videos, seeing some past ones with hindsight is fun, cheers from Brazil!
i agree with the ranking of the list and had the same ranking BUT i super disagree with the Srtty take. we dont need a super high mechanical player to contest the east, if we did then flyquest wouldve just promoted srtty. its ALWAYS easier to win vs the east by learning how to win from playing behind and that something super high level map players do like Bwipo have shown and flyquest just showed
@@PsychopathicPoroClips if thats your opinion then thats fair. however i think theres lots of evidence to show the exact opposite EX: coach reven of sr saying they that they were teaching zeyzal to be the macro caller on the team and it never worked out. EX: bwipo saying the same thing + how if needed, he can just spam soloq and get coached by the rank1 of a champ. plus the turn around time of learning laning phase through vods vs learning teamfighting phase through vods is night and day
7:19 C9: A team that could never hold up to Flyquest or Team Liquid Also C9: The only other team to push TL to 3 games in regular season summer not named Flyquest, and 2-0'd Flyquest Let's not be revisionist and act like summer C9 wasn't just a choke job of epic proportions in the transition between regular season and playoffs. They were legit for basically the entire summer split until the shift into playoffs where the team just imploded and couldn't put the pieces back together. To give Shopify's core (the NRG mid-jungle + the Brazil special of Bvoy+Ceos) the benefit of the doubt after their 2023 and summer in particular and 100 Thieves the nod when the org is basically one foot out the door (and just let go of the player who actually turned the team around from bottom-feeder to make playoffs in the first place in Tomo) is kinda wild tbh. Which is an issue I have with your analysis overall: looking at just the 1:1 player changes rather than fit and style cohesion.
C9 has underperformed expectations 3 splits in a row. They were expected to win in 2023 summer and 2024 spring, and they were expected to get 3rd and qualify for worlds in 2024 summer. They made two roster moves this upcoming split and both are downgrades. At what point do we stop giving them benefit of the doubt? Also to your point on NRG, I'm not giving Palafox and Contractz a pass. I get that they also underperformed recently. However, my analysis on their roster is pretty consistent, considering I've always been an advocate for Fudge and Ceos for multiple years now
@PsychopathicPoroClips I'll give you 2 splits in a row because they literally made finals in 2023 summer and only lost that one bo5...to that NRG miracle run *who they already beat 3-0 earlier in bracket* . And even then, that was a year that involved the EMENES experiment and expectations weren't nearly as high as they were in 2024 where, no argument, they underperformed. Though I would also say that 2024 was a continuation of what we saw in summer 2023: a team is middling in regular season, only to turn it on for the big run to a title in playoffs, only to get usurped the next split: - NRG was a total coinflip in 2023 summer, went on a run to a title and a quarterfinal placement, big expectations for next split, fail pretty utterly to meet them. - TL were middle of the pack, living the 4th meme in spring 2024, only to shift into gear, make the run to finals, win it all, and perform well at MSI. Big expectations for summer, actually were the big dogs for most of the split, only to fall short at the finish line, losing in finals to a team they previously beat in bracket and not having the best showing at worlds...gee, sure sounds almost exactly like summer 2023, doesn't it? Scriptwriter isn't even being subtle at this point. - and now Flyquest, losing to both top teams in regular season summer and even dropping a bunch of games to lesser opponents, suddenly hit their gear in playoffs, make a run, push TL to 5 before outclassing them completely in finals en route to a quarterfinal finish at worlds...again, just like 2023 summer. Shit happens, basically, both good and bad. Turns out for C9, it wasn't nearly so simple as slotting in Jojo and becoming a dynasty team. Just like it wasn't such an upgrade for NRG to go from Ignar to Huhi off the back of being the most hyped NA squad from 2023...whether it was all about that swap or other things, it's hard to say, just like with C9. But it's been more than just C9 with expectations the past year, and they were also not the only ones to fall short. And it's more the right fit of players at the right time than anything.

I'm doing it, can't promise it'll be 100% accurate though haha
I would say I'm actively familiar with roughly 2/3rds of the players
i agree with pretty much the whole list (although maybe swap c9 and dignitas bc i'm a c9 hater lol)
also yeah o7 insanity
C9 in 6th is kinda crazy, I dare you to post that in the C9 subreddit

You can teach macro more easily than you can teach mechanics, it's always preferred to start with a mechanics base and go from there
