The writing on the screen obstructs your painting instructions. Can you stop the writing somehow. Can't tell what you are doing. Love, love to watch you. I have learned sooo much from you. YOU are truly a great artest and teacher. Thanks.

What kind of sponge are you using for the leaves? Thanks.
I use poofy make up brushes as my blending brushes and they never loose hairs in my painting. But when I use acrylic blending brushes they do. So I switched over for that part.
Hey quick question, what should i do if i don't have an artist sponge? Can i use regular sponge instead? Or something else...
I really like your tree and I'm going to attempt to paint it. One thing I want to try to do differently is put some secondary limbs on the viewer side of the tree. Any hints on how to do this?
One of the most satisfying tutorials you've done. Seeing the volume of the tree's trunk emerge, anchoring the explosive colors to itself, is wonderfully understated lesson in "fooling the eye." Thanks!

Your teaching style is wonderful! You simplify each step so that it is easy to follow and I don’t feel so overwhelmed. I love using acrylics, but I’ve sort of abandoned it for awhile to work on charcoal, pastels, and now water color. Through this video, I am so motivated to get my acrylics out and paint something! As many others, your autmun painting are my favorites too.
I have a question, and maybe it will sound stupid but... What is the sheet you use to put your paint on ? I mean, instead of plastic or wooden art palette, you have a something else with a sheet on it. I guess. And I was wondering what it could be (my paint dry really fast on plastic).

I follow a lot of artists on RUclips and all for different reasons. I love your use of color, attention to detail and the weight of your objects. You always seem to know where to stop and call it finished and not enter into the surreal. A talented and gifted artist for sure!
I would like to ask a question though because of all the artists I follow who have painted trees, including autumnal, it seems the paintings all have the leaves behind the boughs with none in front or overlapping.
Is this an artistic choice or a choice for the viewers’ appreciation? I expect each artist would have a different reason, but it seems more popular than not.

As always gorgeous painting still need to order your new set. But I do truly miss you mixing all the colors from scratch and watching your colors unfold but I do know that it makes your job easier not having to mix so much

How do you determine what colors you are going to use? You are so good at mixing the right colors for each painting.

What level of painting is it to your mind? Advanced, intermediate?
Hi Vikki I would say that this piece is more of a beginners to intermediate level. There aren't too many details in this piece and using the paint set is more for beginners before learning to mix your own colors.
