Yet another challenging painting. I knw we're in 2021. give me time :-) the mountains & the hill upfront with rocks drive me crazy. Everything went well until I reach those critical points : "Now I take my half inch brush with only white & water...." creating that blurry effect. Despite my tolerance I can't consider my splatchs as a beginner kind of style it's just a mess. I'm almost running the video image per image and screening & zooming just to find out where's the hidden thing. There is no magic, just art and skills and I'm missing them so much :-( Have to go back to my 4th try. Thanks Feliks for what u doing.
I love yours painting 💖. I am curious? How do you get the acrylic colour from drying so long? My colour palette drying so fast that I almost just can have one that working at same time. If I have four to five at same time they three to five are dry when I are going to use them. And the campus, the colour are most of the time dry when I are going to blend all of the colours😢. This is very frustrating😳. I have been watching at videos with many painters and their technique, but I like your work best because you use freehand and have a very calm voice and excellent eye for details and deepens and you always explain everything 💖. Second question is how is best to paint the north light? On withe campus or black? I live in country that have lots of mountains, snow and north lights and I have see them dancing in the sky in all of the colours many times💖. That is most beautiful thing I’ve have seen in my entire life and I have see lots of places in different countries🥰. I am just have been painting for five to six weeks and first four weeks I was doing some abstract work just for fun but just last two weeks I’ve been studying and painting landscape and have finish my first painting and I followed your advice but I used metalic acrylic paint instead of plain colours but sometimes I use just a little bit of plain colour and mix with the metallic colours. Works great to gather but same problem, dry to fast😢. Thanks so much for your advice and all your work to teaching us how to make panting💖. Your work are amazing💖
I ordered your brushes and its taking forever to get to me :( was only supposed to be to take 4 business days, its been 7. This is the problem that I find with small business the logistics are never any good
but im sure the product is worth the wait
it took me about fifty paintings to realize that I didn't have to use the same amount of paint as what you do bc my canvas is smaller :)

This entire painting is amazing a little over my head but I hope to try it in the future I love the sun but I think I will leave it out when I try I don't think I would take a chance if I get the painting anywhere near yours.

4:04 "I like my egg soft boiled please." Couldn't help noticing it looked like an egg. *Love watching this at bedtime.* Very relaxing. I love that you do this in real time. Not a big fan of time lapse, I enjoy the technique each artist uses and you can't appreciate that in a speed painting. Here you show us how you blend, the strokes and movements etc. Just nice.

What's nice about these long tutorials, is that 'Felix' doesn't feel the need to verbalize continuously throughout the hour and a half. He does though, instruct verbally at the proper junctions, which is ideal.
When I come to see your artistic magic, I can always see new ways. I can only constantly search for new destinations, then draw sketches and shoot videos.
Very beautiful, comme d'habitude. May I ask for some narrative about the pressure of the brush against the canvas? It looks like you press harder at times, but don't get a *thicker* line but a shaped one...at about 35:00, I think, is a good example of what I'm referring to.

Thanks for the tutorial. I took some liberties here and there but I painted along and it looks awesome. That sun spot at the end is a brilliant touch.
