actually the CEO told us in interview that they (the staff) will actively change and interact with the gameplay, the lore and the battlefront to make the gaming experience more realistic, like a DM should do ^^
Yeah, they have a single person that control the Events/Major Orders and the active Defend Planet missions, whatever happens in the galactic war. I believe they call him, "Joel".
The funniest voiceline for me is that of the female soldier with the irish accent. "My leeeeg" with the acute E makes me die of laughter every time.

there have been very few games that have ever had this many concurrent players... It can easily be nominated for Game of the Year.
I love how this game makes you want to play it more, and that it doesn't feel filled with FOMO pressure to force you to keep playing. So many live service games feel like a chore, but Helldivers 2 just feels like pure fun. It feels like an action movie every time you drop.

Don't usually enjoy cutesy outfits in action games.. but for Helldivers?
Seeing fellow divers deliver Democracy wearing pink cat ears and ribbons? Hell yeah.
Won't be surprised if some such outfit makes it into the game. Like a promotion of some in-universe corporation, similar to the Yogurt Armor.
It would be awesome if the cat ears armor is the crossover Spartan armor featured if they eventually release on Xbox

Awesome Gameplay, Massive community that's continuing to grow, Extremely communicative development team and CEO, New content every month for the foreseeable future, plus a gameplay loop that's fun and interacts with it's player base, not to mention it's sold over 4 million copies on steam alone. HD2 will without a doubt get GOTY if not at the very least be in the running. The only game that's been announced at the moment that I could see coming close is MAYBE STALKER 2 if it lives up to it's hype.

I don't think it will win Game of the Year, since the Game Awards are more for show rather than actually giving games their due (game mechanics, community support, good premise, or design choices.) It is a great game though to be sure since we haven't had a good tactical PvE game since Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. It is a nice refreshing change from what we have seen over the years. No one should give the game merits based on the Game Awards but rather if you enjoy the game and it keeps you playing. Gauntlet: Dark Legacy would never be considered a Game of the Year but it is by far one of the best games ever made. Rather have a game that has the Player's Choice since that is vote by the community as a whole.
Procedural generated means the maps are generated with a seed just like minecraft. (Algorithm creates the map)

I have the game but no friends to play with making it needlessly hard. I just wish I could play with somebody else, especially if it's someone like Dokibird or Sayu. Wouldn't that be the dream to be alongside one of them?
Make your own friends. Hit R and join someone elses game. Be the friend you want others to be.
@@jadenmurray1325 I've joined randoms before. The one time though, I joined and was immediately kicked without explanation. Had a good time playing with an American the one time. Sadly, most people don't use a mic. It's always a privilege to play with only people who have one. Makes working together much easier than it otherwise would be.
@@irystocrattakodachithatmooms My personal theory is that a large majority of quick kicks happen due to the standard matchmaking setting being public and people forget to change it. So don't take it personally :)
