I have this same laptop. Got it at the razer store in the mall. I’d say it’s the best laptop I’ve ever owned. More power than my blade stealth. Better temps and fan noise, and over all design than my Alienware. Runs all my games really well and feels really nice.

i am pretty dissapointed on one side the games run well on it. But i expected it to run even better considering it has an RTX4070 mine, now apart from that the device is amazing but the battery is horrible and this is me talking when im not gaming but just day to day usage browsing data analitycs etc which is not heavy usage and yet i get around 2-3 hours on low battery saving and my battery is in good condition the razer blade 2024 is not even 6 month old this is my short review after owning this exact device for the last 6 months
I'm curious about the reason for the short battery life. It has an efficient CPU and an IPS screen that consumes less than an OLED most of the time. I don't know what drains the battery so quickly. Maybe 240 Hz refresh rate?
Yeah so many reasons NOT to buy this. It's built like a tank, but do you really need a tank? I never hear of anyone breaking their G14 physically, and it's still nice aluminum. Also weighs significantly less. And you can buy 3 of the G14 when on sale compared to a normal priced blade 14. I don't understand who the hell buys razer anymore. It's not Apple. Doesn't have the ecosystem or the OS or the cachet. No unique features. No OLED. Even the blade 16 with OLED has an awfully cheap reflective cover and super cheap plastic bezel surround instead of the premium edge to edge glass cover of other laptops. Razer is supposed to be known for their compactness and footprint. Just look at those chunky plastic bezels here. Terrible battery life too. Can't excuse it as being a "gaming" laptop either. It's using a mobile ryzen processor that other pedestrian laptops use. Also mediocre sound. The only thing I like about it is the thick body and vapor chamber. It's still thin without being stupidly thin, is easy to hold, and the cooling is very adequate. Except it's wasted on a 4070 only. And let's not forget razer's history of bloated dangerous batteries. Razer could have filled the premium high power niche that companies like Asus and Lenovo refuse to with their ugly plastic loud gamer laptops. But no. Razer just continues to tread water with the same tired design, almost zero improvement, and the same ridiculous pricing. It's a Chinese company, yet somehow has no price advantage over overseas rivals. "Made in China" is actually TOO expensive. 😛
Could it be compared to X1 Carbon Gen 13 from lenovo despite of being totally different categories ? And which is better in terms of performance and reliability?
Hmmm not really. The X1 is a thin and light notebook, while the Blade 14 is an Ultrabook with a dGPU. The Blade will be faster, and since it has such a strong body, probably more reliable. BUT, I haven't fully reviewed the X1 yet, so I cant speak about longevity :)

@crimsontechyt if your reviewing it PA LEASEEEEEE GET THE OLED VERSION NOT THE LCD the oled is so good I thinks it's better than the g14 colors pop out more and there deciated modes you can change in the fly
I had to send this one back because of the high pitched fan noise it has (much worse than the old model) and low battery life. The G14 is a lot less sturdy in build quality, has this super weird keyboard layout and has serious USB charging issues. I really hope Razer can do better in 2025 to deliver a really perfect laptop.
Several years ago Razer started asking for people to sign in the razer application, to use it. Is that still a thing. I found it disgusting and unacceptable then. I haven't changed my mind yet. Oh man, the green text on the CMD is just beautiful. Reminds me of my programming days in the 80s. Well, some of them anyway. I used to use PCs with not just green, but also orange and white text. Mmmm orange.... The price is expensive, but back in 2015 when I bought my XMG laptop I paid a bit over 3000 euros. i7 4710HQ, GTX980m, 32GB of RAM, 512GB NVME, 512GB SATA m.2, 1080p screen (my choice). Of course the 980 was the top tier GPU, but due to inflation the price of this Razer is still lower. Though compared to similarly specced laptops, this Razer is too high priced. God I wish I could fix it. Anyway, where was I? I do like how Razer products look and feel, but I have very bad experience with them. Over the years I have bought 3-4 items from them and they ALL died or malfunctioned within months. So I just stopped buying them. None of them were a laptop, but I wouldn't take a chance if I had that kind of money. Good video, thank you for sharing.
They actually remade the Razer app, and with it they took away the account requirement :) (you can just choose to use it as a "guest") Weirdly enough, Razer's laptops are their best product line, like with Alienware haha xd
I had the exact same thing with my Book 13, strange. I always assumed Intel drivers were just really bad for that thing :/ I've never had issues with my Blade 14. Been using it since 2022, and still going strong :) Same with this model so far
@faezor3326 just got my friend a 2021 g14 1650 vers with 24gb ram and a 1.5 year warranty left for 700, not a great deal but at least it is much better than any brandnew "office work" laptop vietnam facebook market is pretty wild
I think the razer blade is overrated, specially with that price and terrible battery life, you got 5-6 hours while the laptop is still new, what more when you use it on daily bases for work, gaming, and other hefty stuff ? it will last max 3 hours, I got a razer blade 2021 and the battery lasts 2.5-3 hours at MAX and here im not talking about that much heavy load, speakers, and not being able to charge with USB C, and a giant charger ? all these should bring laptop price way down, specially when it has a tough competition with the G14. Anyways, I'm waiting for the comparison between both, and we will see :D
