When I first started to use a streaming service, quite a few years ago, it 'sounded' like a great idea. Till I discovered that some of my favorite albums when streamed had missing tracks compared to the CD of the same name I owed. From that moment I knew we were screwed and through using streaming services I have given control away of my own music library.

I don't know how I arrived to this video, but it makes me happy that there's people that values music and the artist's work. I'm an artist myself, and I'm thinking about stopping using streaming platforms, because in one hand it's good that is accessible, but at the same time it's like throwing even YEARS of work to the streets. It's impossible to value stuff when it's free, intangible, and you have zillions every single day (a lot of them very low quality).

Streaming services in general have de-valued the arts. By keeping control of the media formats and their distribution streaming platforms caused music and film to lose their value. Which is very sad.

😄 Well, i'm not struggling at all. I just never ever use streaming to listen to music. No Spotify account, no Apple account, no Amazon account, etc. And i probably never will… I never felt the need to do that 🤷🏻‍♂😶 I still use physical media.
