i like the relationship and evolution, tho i believe some psychological facts may be a bit askew to williams expression vs trauma, such a trauma would, yes incur the requirement of the next child to be the best, but having a superiority complex is not common for someone being left to live in the streets and getting trauma by the dumpster truck. i believe a more caged up or locked upp feelings william would fit better with the context of the backstory. he had to cope somehow, and making himself superior while being beat down is counterproductive for the human brain, so a steel heart is more likely here other than that small itch, the designs were wonderful, great storytellingand i love how you actually brought the future selves into compare, its a nice touch
