Oh, the old Hanna Barbera, that we thought the creator was a woman called Hannah. We take a look at the HB Logos in today's logo evolution episode. Juannope-2019
Lord Ron Pretty much just for nostalgia. That, and characters like Tom and Jerry, the Flintstones, and the Jetsons were created by Hanna-Barbera, so maybe it’s to honor them?

Whenever I knew these logos were about to come up on the VHS tape, I'd quickly try to fast forward though it or eject it as soon as possible... But it's really sad that Hannah Barbara exists in name alone today. You can take a walk down the aisles at Walgreens and just see a clearance bin filled with DVD copies of "The Flintstones & WWE." THAT'S how little Time Warner thinks of the HB characters; just as afterthoughts to be tossed aside for low budget cash grabs.

Cartoons these days Suck! The 60s and 70s were probably the best. Though in the mid 90s and early 2000s,cartoon network had some decent stuff. PowerPuff Girls,Dexters Lab,Courage the Cowardly Dog,Time Squad,Camp Lazlo,Billy and Mandy to name a few.😄
There were other character portraits made for pilots on What a Cartoon! such as Kenny and the Chimp (what later became Codename: KND), Foe Paws, and more, and they even have the same Cartoon Network logo afterwards.
I have mixed feelings about the studio being defunct and replaced by successor, Cartoon Network Studios. On the one hand, it is disheartening. But on the other, I liked some of the shows from the '90s, especially some from the first half of the decade; the second half doesn't interest me as much. I just never really cared for the direction they went in the mid-late '90s and if the studio had still existed, and more shows were made after the Powerpuff Girls, it probably would've continued going in the newer direction. I grew up watching some of the shows and in recent years, I got into some I hadn't heard of nor knew existed. But I wish I had known about and seen those other shows sooner. I always loved both Swirling Star logos the most or the best. I'm more into the T.V. specials, especially the literary-based ones, than the T.V. series, but I have some favorites in that medium that I like as well. Out of all the shows I've seen, whether as a child or in my adulthood, my most favorite HB series of all time remains CBS Storybreak.

I remember watching scooby doo 9 years ago and I was scared of it. Not because theres monsters, no just is because swirling star intro 3:44 Somehow always was scared, also the sound was making me not watching tv. (Sorry my english is bad)
The swirling star syncs with Black Vulcan shouting his name in his appearances on The All-New Super Friends Hour. Which is funny, because the Rainbow HB logo was at the end of that show. Maybe Hoyt Curtin was watching that episode and decided to make some musical accompaniment to Black Vulcan shouting his name he thought fit.
Didn´t know they went back to the rainbow one Hell I didn´t even know HB was still producing series! My favourite is the swirling star since is the one I remember most though the Johnny quest one was also always cool.
Didn't know that Hanna-Barbera still exists to this day...

Technically they were absorbed into Warner Bros. so not really
It’s really in name only. In 2001, Hanna-Barbera was completely absorbed into Warner Bros. Animation
