“Mom I can’t sleep.”
“Why?”
“There are floating letters outside my window.”
"Ignore them"
It reminds me of a song by the Floaters called “Float On”.

The fact that I'm still terrified by how ominous the "Kid in Bed" logo is, makes me wish I didn't exist. AT ALL.
I liked the logo and wanted a bedroom like that. I hope the kid is having sweet dreams about DiC cartoons.
Damn. Thats deep. I know logos can be unsettling but I NEVER heard anyone say anting like that. Im scared of the impeller from Finding Nemo but I don't wish I didn't exist.
I remember shows that were created from this cartoon company. Their logos were definitely amazing and fantastic. The very first one I remember from watching Heathcliff. The cartoon ones from Inspector Gadget and the littles which I haven't seen yet. Also the kid sleeping going out the window seeing the logo. The last one was pretty cool.

CCD88 recognized Cro and Bronto! And of course the first DIC variant and logo appearance.
You want to talk about variants on the final version of the DiC Logo?
When DiC had a lot of their library on in syndication during the 2000s, they would play the final version but as the music went off, the rings would pan out to reveal a picture of the show that was airing at the time. I remember this for their run of the Smurfs as well as Trollz when it aired on the CW, mostly because the pictures they were using were very distinct and possibly made for the purpose of using for those logos, especially the Smurfs one which looked to be new. There is also one final version that is in CGI but I can not remember what it shows or DVD it was used for. I just remember the DiC logo flying in and there was either a city or a lab where it landed.
Great job on the video. I saw a lot of variants I hadn't seen before!
I'd like to see the first variant you mentioned!

R.I.P. DiC, they made good cartoons :(
Agree... When I was little I used to watch Strawberry Shortcake and then DiC comes out. Good ol memories
I miss their work, DiC Sailor Moon especially!
How did I find you here?
@@BluCoolKnux idk
lol
The logo used from 2001 to 2008 was the one I remembered from my childhood. Horseland was one of the company's best shows that used this logo
Agree
I remember the brand growing up and seen it at the closing credits of certain children's programming back in the 90s
My opinions:
1980-1988: cheesy
1982-1983: creative
1988-2001: alright
2001-2008: too colorful
3:27 that sounds so retro (early 80’s)
It says “die” on top of the R
bc it’s made in 1979 lol
I think I remember the D.I.C 1990-2005 logo with the 1990-1999 dreamy orchestral fanfare music with happy child's voice at the end of the episode of the original 1990s dub of Sailor Moon on TV while my big sister brushed my hair and I'm was running for the closet like hell during probably summer 1997. I was a little girl at the time.
Why Did You Not Like The D.I.C Logo When You Were Little?
The "English Language Adaptation" example seen in the video comes from the 1995 run of Sailor Moon. (A version with a different copyright byline but otherwise the same was used for the 1997 eps)
I remember seeing the final two logos on my Strawberry Shortcake DVDs. Good times.
Me too.
I remember some of my childhood cartoons from DiC Entertainment back in the 90s and 2000 beyond that I used to watched when I was young like: Super Dave:Daredevil for Hire, Hammerman, The Mask, Ace Venture Pet Detective, Pro Stars, King Arthur abd the Knights of Justice and Mary Kate and Ashley in Action. I wished they're on the entire complete DVD collection so I can enjoy watching them again but at least I can watched them on RUclips until then.
At least you didn't say the name wrong 😅

If DiC Entertainment came back here’s what would happen:
1: It would be owned by WildBrain (since DHX Media turned into WildBrain in 2019).
And 2: DiC’s shows would be on DVD and would be re-aired on Kids’ channels.
Exactly
That does include Lady Lovely Locks and the Pixietails (1987-1988) if Bob Iger wants to add the 80s classic to Disney+
The international rights are currently owned by BVS International (formerly Saban International)
Plus, WildBrain, Corus (who folded Teletoon and YTV), Nickelodeon, and Nelvana would make newer prints of their shows. This includes AYAOTD?, Mona The Vampire, Johnny Test (the old show), Inspector Gadget (the old and new show), and more.
@@natepike1752

Also, since LBS filed for bankruptcy, Fremantle (the current distributor) would help distribute some shows, while Abc signature would distribute The Littles.(since they aired the show back when it dropped).
