I am so glad I have lived to see Justice & Honor being upheld in our beloved country, Kenya. I kept asking the same question, the 4 IEBC Comissioners started their statement by applauding the work they had done together as 7 members. The great job was also witnessed by all Kenyans as we closely followed the counting process. Only to claim they can not, at eleventh hour, accept the results of this same counting and validating process they had played a role in first hand.
Am not underrating the CJ by any means , but this is the woman I would vote for as CJ! She’s precise and lethal in words and articulation. RESPECT your lordship:
I have a lot of respect for the Malawi Judicial system. Only an independent and objective court can nullify a presidential election in Africa. In contrast, whereas the Kenyan opposition has every right to resort to legal system, it is doing so not because justice has been denied but to subvert the peoples will as manifested in the elections. It is noteworthy that Raila has contested every election for the last 30 years. In the 2022 elections, Raila was the Kenya's government blue-eyed boy. Every government machinery and resources were at his disposal. Despite this, the people choose Ruto as their leader. The current case is meant to subvert the popular will of the people. Finally, note that Raila has shied away from questioning the number of votes cast in favor of the president elect. Instead, he has trained his guns on the chairman of the electoral body who has just only one vote.

If Raila has a problem with the outcome of the elections, he should ask the majority who thought he is not fit to lead this country. He can't get through the judicial system what people denied him. In the unlikely event that the court orders repeat elections, we all know the outcome. He will lose, just as he has done in the last 6 elections.

It's not the judge that will give the final judge but the iebc has declared accord to the constitution the only thing needed now is for the judge to put things right n pronounce judgement after full hearing n witnessing with all required questions
