Love this tutorial! I’m wondering what your pressure sensitivity settings are-I’m super heavy-handed and am struggling to get the strokes to start cleanly.

Hi! I’m so glad you love it! That’s a great question! For the beginning, not matter what, you want to be super light with the touch. Like just enough to make contact, but barely! Also, I would suggest to try changing your Pressure Sensitivity to something that closely resembles an “aggressive pressure curve!” You can find images on Google to see some examples, and that might help too! Hopefully that helps :)

Hello. To use that circle to pick up and write with it do I need your specific brushes or would it work with another brush? I'm still learning and don't want to invest too much into every brush set I like unless I know I can use them well, otherwise I'll go broke haha. Thank. 😊

So that particular feature is specific to my 3D Fusion Brushes! And if you ever have any questions about a purchase from my shop, contact me on my website! I’m always here and happy to help out :)

How do you make the image appear as a brush stroke? I am following the tutorial, but I end up coloring the peppermint image gray each time I preview with the tube brush.

Hmm, I’m not sure! Are you using the brush on the drawing setting or the smudge setting?

Yes, that was it. You nailed it. Thank you so, so much. I am new to Procreate. I did get it to work, and it is so fun to create with it. Your tutorials are super helpful.
