Lip-sync 😭😭😭😭 I hate that Italian television was doing it all the time up until a couple decades ago. You can just tell they’re not performing live and it’s SUCH a shame. UGH. Either way, this song is still FIRE.
Everybody did this. No country on earth didnt... I had 200+ recordings of dead or alive doing playback in 6 or 7 countries back then. And depeche was the same. It wad how music shows had to be done to make sure everything went smooth. When New Order wanted to pkay live on TOTP they had to fight for it for ages.. And when they finally allowed them to do it, it became a mess. And NO never asked to play live on a tv show ever again.
This is a tv show for fucks sake... 98% has never been done live. Theres probably 300 videos on RUclips with dead or alive singing one of their hits.. Same with 200 other 80's bands.. Weird that we keep having to go through this. Its been like this since the dawn of time. 70 years now. Wake up people! 😔
@@ebbhead20 no need to act that way. And just because it's a TV show doesn't mean it has to be lip synced, plenty of shows before and after this had live performances. Just some shows like this or Top of the Pops forced musicians to lip sync for some dumb reason.
@@sam8404 no, tv shows dont tend to be live. They never where.. All the way back to the Beatles and earlier they where just miming to tapes. The only ones that i know if being live is OGWT from England and Rockpalast in Germany, and then later on Live with Jools Holland and Graham Norton Show. The 200.000 other shows on earth was always playback. And unless you was 15 in 1983 or so, you wouldn't know shit about this. But i do. I saw everything worth watching back when we had good bands. And no one was ever live, even big super acts like Level 42 or Duran always had playback, even at Tommys Popshow or Montreux Festival with 20.000 fans. They where never live. Live has never been a thing. You can go back to the 50s and see Patsy Cline miming away to her music. Stop talking about live as the norm when it never was a thing. Playback was the norm for 50+ years. You cqnt even do a setup of love music on a tv show with poo bands. The fucking thing would last 5 hours instead of 30-60 minutes as the norm was.. 😣
