I'm LOST in the Middle of Nowhere in Tanzania - EP. 69

- My first motovlog from Tanzania is about being lost in the Maasai land. And all this thanks to my navigation app, which took me off the beaten track through local walking paths. It was one of the most unforgettable rides I've done in Africa. I'd have never been seen all of it if I kept to the main gravel road. I won't board you with much talking in this episode, I was too busy to take it all in.

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I was raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. All the money raised will go directly to helping Franek and his family so he can lead a normal life as best as possible, so please donate generously: gogetfunding.c...

Hi Kinga, I might be the most loyal fan among thousands of your followers. I tag you along on FB. Once you have new Episode released, I can't wait to see it on TV(Laptop connected with cable). The most scary episodes are Mongolia and lost in Tanzania. I really can't imagine how you dealt with it when you wee in the middle of nowhere and fell........
I admire and respect you, I wish I could be like you to ride all over around world, but it's impossible to make it in my short life.
By the way, if you may post the video, which we saw on FB, on youtube that will be more fun for most of your followers.Wish you all the best and ride safe.
Michael from Taiwan
I freaking love this channel. Its just so inspirational. I think of all the excuses I have to not do something like this then each time I watch one of your videos, I think, stop making excuses and get on with it. With just a little extra hard work, less beer, more saving, I could do this soon. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
You are an inspiration to us all
Kinga Respekt an you. Strong woman
Kinga, I’m in awe! You’re a complete star! Superb!
Am just waiting for another video. Big love from Tz
What an amazingly, strong, confident woman, puts all the protesting in the UK at the moment into perspective, keep it going, good luck....
Wow Kinga, you really "got lost" and took the long way round. Well done you. Brave.
I've lived in Tanzania twice now, beautiful country - sadly, owning a bike there (especially any import bike) is very expensive and somewhat difficult as a resident foreigner and I couldn't get the paperwork together the last time I was there. Currently planning a continent-spanning overland trip, though, so hopefully in a couple of years it'll all come back together!
F800 GS, real adventure bike !
0:28 - imagine that you can dissipate a big cloud of dust by simply waving a hand, it's an obvious sign of a very, very, very optimistic personality. 😊 A very useful capacity for adventurers.
You aré thé best kinga enjoy your adventure Im glad too sée you good Luck
Thanks for showing these amazing backroads!
I love your jumps & dancing 💃 moves.. Keep riding & stay safe .
SUPER VDO KINGA AS USUAL 👍🏻 😊 BRAVO FOR YOUR INCREDIBLE JOURNEY RIDE SAFE !!
Roads are rough at any moment the BMW bike stands or falls or you find a dead end on whatever interesting journey🌹
Very inspiring Kinga!!😍😍😍💪🏻💪🏻
Sometimes the GPS doesn't work well... Keep going!
Brave woman, great footage. Bye for now!
U ar so brave Kinga
I have watched ALL your videos from the beginning. I must say how much I admire your riding skills now and how much I appreciate your good nature and optimism, you're a treasure to watch! Cheers motomuttly.com
Watching this video, I realised, you could be going all the way around the world, but you won't always be moving forward. Sometimes to get to your destination, you've got to slow down, stop or turn back a bit to find your way and keep moving forward
Kinga, im really impressed by you, you are so brave, i want you all the best on your trip. im really glad that you have been in Serbia.
welcome back , strong girl..🌺🌷🌺
LMAO. What a adventure... I have never been lost on my Harley. Not to say that I haven't been in places I have never been before. LOL . One lonely old dog for miles and you almost ran over him... That's a bit funny 😂...
Anyway thanks for sharing and taking me along. Great Video... When you hit the states let me know. I'll show you some of the most amazing places. And would love to share some experiences with you...
Billy
Man, she's really pretty
Tanzania lies in the African Great Lakes region and boasts over 61,500 km2 (23,700 sq mi) of surface area that is covered by lakes. This makes up 6% of the national surface area and 88% of this area is covered by the three major lakes. Lake Victoria and Lake Tanganyika are part of the two great lakes in that nation, with Lake Victoria being the largest freshwater lake in Africa and Lake Tanganyika being the second-deepest lake in the world
Never fear death,it will come anyway, live if today was the last one,go girl what ever happens
My admiration from an old surfie,go Inga
You can jump again. The leg is finally gotten strong enough. Yea!
Yes! That was the point when my leg felt strong again 😁💪
Excellent installment
Good choice. You should see if you can get Rally Raid to pimp it up for you.
This was a hard day for you, Kinga! Thank you for turning it into such an adventurous, beautiful and cool video for us!!!
Good evening kinga
You could easily have found yourself in the Serengeti asking Lions for directions.
Lol!!
wonderfull
Muy lindo video
12:21. I really admire the courage and love of adventure of this great woman ! 👍👏 Through such areas alone, if it breaks down or anything ... where should she get help?
My thoughts exactly been riding for over 50 years congratulations woman
If I worry about such things I'd never left home. There's always a way as long you're healthy. I've got tools and spares with me and enough food and water to last few days. If I wouldn't be able to fix the bike I would call for help and organise a truck to get a lift to town. There's always a way😁💪
onherbike And I know this ... as long as there is health, there is everything ! (we also say this always in Italy !) I wondered, even seeing those fairly deserted areas, I don't think it's easy to make a phone call and get help. However, you must always be positive in life and, as you have said well, there will always be a way out of certain situations. I wish you all the best for your adventure, in the hope that God will always protect you and nothing ever happens! And thank you for sharing your adventure with the rest of the world! 👍 Be strong! 💪 😉
Hi try to visit the Philippines 🇵🇭the people are friendly and so many scenic spots
Waoooo.. Beautiful.... By the way how much amount of fuel do u carry with you 😳! What if, if you get lost your track and get out of fuel of your tank.????
I have extra 7L Camel Tank installed. I'm able to do nearly 500km which is enough for Africa. I've never run out of fuel on this continent.
Waoooo.... That's great....... Best wishes for your journey..... Love love. From india, North East state of Arunachal pradesh.
That 800 is so more suitable than the 1200, Agile vs sofa :-)
I have watched all your episodes and to tell you the truth am in Africa and i dont appreciate how beautiful this continent is ... i want to pick up this challenge and travel in Africa
She is very good

the "oldest tree on earth," a 6000-year-old Baobob tree in Tanzania.
Im happy when get the notification u upload the video. Hahaha
Salute to your strength and courage, love you kinga 💓
Why did you take always off-road!!
Great to see you out and about Kinga !! Enjoy exploring the World with U, Thanks for sharing 💓🏍🌻🌟
I would like to follow your step and wheels
Hola...! Exelente video.. saludos cordiales desde la Ciudad de México..! 🏍️
I thought "lost" was just a clickbait title but Kinga !! you, young lady, are the ultimate intrepid adventurer!
My country, finally!!!.
So is this you properly back on the road or catching up with previously filmed footage ? Cheers kinga 🤔
Anybody who reads the book "Dark Star Safari by travel writer Paul Theroux will recall him explaining that roads - even main roads - in Kenya and Tanzania are so bad that even heavy duty 4 x 4 trucks routinely break springs and axles!
So maybe Kinga WAS ON the right road........it just didnt look much like a road to her?
marked contrast from Rwanda with it's lush green scenery. Given the look of the dirt road you could almost think you were in Australia. Lucky you have your knobby tyres on-good job. hmm-as Maps Me or Google perhaps. How on earth do you get on for fuel? You'd need a pretty good range & carry extra fuel. Looking at that hill and you trying to get up-the obvious thing is all the load you have on the back-it probably needed to come off. A compass might be useful if you know which direction you're supposed to be heading in. What about Google earth! You are 1 brave lady Kinga!
I see you have a Garmin GPS if you down load Open street maps ..FOR FREE any country in the world to your Garmin for free I guarantee its 100% better then maps.me go to garmin.openstreetmap.nl choose generic routable (new style) pick the country you want or enable manual tile section and highlight the area you want. then click your map now enter your email it will send you a q then it will send you another email with the link to down load. on your pc make a Garmin file now put a folder and name it what ever the country you want like Canada.img put that on a sd card then install in into your Garmin it will load. also try TRACKS 4 AFRICA maps its incredible
So impressive what you're doin' especially for me because I'm on a bike travelling Tanzania. At this moment located at Lake Nyasa in the southeast. Where are you riding currently? Always safe rides and keep on going the distance!
Am exhausted. And that was before helping you heave the bike back up. I realise this should be Past Tense, but do hope you are enjoying it all. Me, I far more enjoyed Episodes up to 45. But you wanted to come to Africa . . . . . . !
Love your channel each video I am watching all your previous videos. When i ride my bike touring pave unpaved roads i think what a previlige to ride .And being able to watch your videos.Thumbs up
thank you very much for the experience. Hungarian country
Great. Finally u safe. Weren’t u scared in this place all by your self. Was wondering what if u had mechanical issues with your bike in that dense forest. God. Isn’t that scary.
I do not normally comment but!!! You must be completely mad or extremely brave. I do admire your persistence and pure stamina. Try to keep safe in what can only be described as a true wilderness. Mike.
Do you carry spare petrol with you or just what's in the tank?
loved your cactus tree dance 💃
Podnoszenie motocykla level Pudzianowski podziwiam i pozdrawiam 😜😁😅
Hi Kinga. The best of luck for you.

Girl at 8:42 said "welcome back" as in come back again
karibu tena means welcome again
If you make it to Arusha you're welcome to stay...
why don`t you use an compas ?
Breif women keep it, but be careful the big trees cuz lions they like to rest such a big tree so be careful, just go where you can find small tree and not like a jungle
Lovely 👍😘
Youre one tough cookie
Great
Great trip. Great video as usual. Sadly music kills the whole thing. The engine should be music to all of us riders.
Turn the volume down. Stop complaining and dont be a dick..........
no offense love your on an adventure just put a compass on it keep going in that direction again until you hit a road and keep checking sleeping place is
"Mainish road" . A close call that one...perseverance paid off in the end...
My tip, if you get lost : rise up your Drone an you can see the next village oder paved Road.
Do you ever worry a lion will jump out at you? Must be plenty of wild animals about.
In this video you look like shane watson for a while. no offense pls
Not sure if she have the drone then...at least can use to see some distance away to find the way....
Your vlogs are just amazing well done
Kinga, come to Jakarta Indonesia....🤞🤞
Karibu tena Tanzania..

Oh oh... 12:00 this road is asking for trouble. Respect, you 18:00 did it Kinga :)) . Well... get lost... fell down... not an easy day... but hey... what a ride , awesome Kinga, really, i enjoyed this.
well done kid but dont tell chili off foe sinking your the pilot lol
(Lost in Africa) film 👍
Mind challenge
and
Physical challenge
👍👍👍👍
Kinga, that was a tough ride, your expertise, and tenacity is quite a great characteristic for you. Most people don’t realize how difficult it is to take a big bike, and wrestle it around those river beds, difficult roads and even picking it up; unless they have had a similar experience. I am hoping at some point in time, whether it’s just you or a meeting with some of your women peers. What’s it like meeting and making a connection with people from all over the world; what’s our connectedness? Is their hope for our world, and what are you taking away from this incredible experience? Ha 😀
Even in the big cities you will lost if you don't ask
👍 great video, thank you
I wish you a safe and safe journey, best regards
Is the Leatt brace overkill? Looks heavy and hot
Kirga fanstatic you got lost n find yr way back to d main road great
I have watch your journey almost from the beginning.
Enjoy the channel, but more impressed with you.
You are quite the individual
How beautiful your video, I have fallen in love with your motorcycle and the trips you take, I greet you from New Zealand, and watch out for COVID19
Kinga, a compass could help to figure it out which direction to take to your destination. Why don't you use it together with GPS maps?
Hi
ccccccc.gps,navigation,google maps,the lost.
Twinkle Twinkle little star "Kinga" is a super Star..., really you are the roll model of adventure Bikers.
