For those Pete and Bas fans who lost touch with members of the Northern Boys, you might be interested in Norman Pain's Sindhu Sesh. Its very dark, but I think most of you will like it a lot.
The best part about it is they are actual gangsters. Pete used to be a shooter and dealer for the Richardson firm. Bas was a bare knuckle fighter and dealer from the ends and they still active AF. These bars are actual life experiences. Bas became a musical instructor and Pete's grandson raps, which got them into the rap game. One day pete was with his grandkids and they were listening to some drill in the car and he was like we could do this better than these guys and the journey began. They write all their own stuff but the grandkids help with the modern day lingo and beats. Please react to Bish Bash Bosh it's there hardest song and longthorne shotgun is fire. Great reaction fam. He ruefully said that he did not expect to wait until he was 74 to make it like this!! Still, he will have had an interesting life in music. Being in the east end of London - there was an interesting history with gangs from the 50s and 60s - they'll likely have some history.
